We loved the location. So close to all the action. Great little skating rink and coffee shop right outside the hotel. Great pool and hot tub to relax the body after all the adventuring. Room was a little small and had double beds instead of queens but it was pretty comfortable. We had dinner in hotel restaurant and it was very good with great service. The lighter Bistro menu that is advertised all over the place is not available in the restaurant.
We really enjoyed this hotel. It's beautiful inside. Great location. Our view was amazing. The kids loved the pool. Was not cold at all. Our room was clean. The layout of the room is nice. The shower needs to be updated. Makes an awful high pitch sound no matter what you do. The shower head placement is terrible! I'd recommend this hotel even with the few negative experiences we had. As a family of 5 I find it incredibly frustrating when our room is not stocked for 5. We had 4 towels, only 2 wash clothes, 1 hand towel & only 2 coffee pods. It's a nepresso type machine. Not kcup. There's no coffee in the lobby. So simple to stock these things that most would consider a necessity. Also, we found it weird how many times someone from the hotel staff tried to enter our room in the small amount of time we were actually in our room. So strange. We were told at checkin that for our 2 night stay, there would be no house keeping so why did someone keep trying to come in? They also begin knocking on the door numerous time on your checkout day beginning a few hours before checkout to see if your out. So odd.
Glass shards, broken AC, Cracks in the wall, Water dripping from the celling, No tv channels, No bedsheets, provided whips for my kids the only good thing. there where so many more thing wrong with this hotel but this was just too name a few. I am very unhappy with our experience.
This hotel is in a great location for walking around the city. My family and I went for winter break, and my husband booked the holiday package. Upon arrival, there were stockings with candy, a stuffed animal, and a blanket for the kids. That was very sweet. The grounds inside the hotel were great and beautifully decorated. The pool area is nice and there were concerts every night we were there which was also great.nnThere is a restaurant at the hotel that is very good. We liked the dinner better than the breakfast. With the package, my husband booked breakfast and dinner. This worked out well as it was very convenient and the food was very good. We planned to get there in time for dinner on Tuesday night, but with unforseen circumstances, we arrived later and could not use the dinner vouchers my husband purchased. He explained what happened to the manager and they were very nice about it and refunded us our money.nnThe service was great. Staff at hotel and restaurant very friendly. Rooms are small, but we made it work. Would definitely stay again. Great for families.
My family and I stayed here early November of 2023 and we had a great time.nnThe hotel was clean and nice, the room was also very nice and we loved our view of the city.nnVery close to Old Quebec so the location is also great.nnIt was quite busy and we had to wait at the check in line for a while and to ask questions too.nnSome staff were friendly, others weren't. It was a bit of a mixed bag on that one. The girl at the pool handing out towels looked very depressed and wasn't super friendly. The music was also quite loud in the pool area and we could hear it from our room which was a little annoying too.nnThe hotel also charges a service fee that they don't tell you about. Apparently it is refunded after your stay, but they didn't tell us about it to begin with and put in on our credit card and never said a word to us. We had to call them after our trip to find out what it was for and only then were we told. So be aware, they do this in case you don't show up and then they charge you a fee.nnBesides that, the location is excellent and just moments away to Old Quebec. Lots of amazing stores and shopping too. We did enjoy our stay here a lot but for future visits we'd most likely pick a different hotel.
