Mission

Progress Centre Medical is family owned and operated by Brent Chan and Jane Lai.

Brent learned a lot during his years working for big pharmacy corporations in the USA and eventually moved back to Canada where he to owned and operated corporate franchise locations.

Jane has always believed in the multidisciplinary approach and encourages the complementary relationship between pharmacist and physician.

Together, they have over 16 years of experience.

Their focus as front-line health care professionals has always been on clinical care and enriching the lives of their patients.

Knowing that they could benefit the community by becoming the local neighbourhood health care professionals, they created Progress Centre Medical.

They look forward to serving you in achieving happy and healthy lives!

Am so glad that my random search for a nearest walk-in clinic made me land in this tidy, professional and well organized clinic. Front desk staffs are very kind, helpful and doctors offer maximum effort to their clients. My families and I are very happy with the service we are getting from this clinic and looking forward to make one of their Doctors our family doctor the moment they start accepting new patients.
I have no family Dr. at the moment and it has been a pain trying to find one. This clinic has been my go to for my medical needs in the meantime and I always get fast and reliable service. Front desk staff is great and organized. Wait time is not super long. Never had a bad experience with any of their doctors. Pharmacists are really great as well. I highly recommend this place.
The staff was very helpful and quick to respond. The receptionists had a little bit of an attitude but I could overlook that for the amazing service that Brent provided over the text function on google. Brent sent me links on how to book an appointment and answered all my questions quickly. This employee must be recognized for his kind and professional behavior. He made me feel very comfortable talking to him and it literally made my day. Thank you so much Brent!.
The front desk staff, Dr.Jerry and the pharmacy staff are very nice and helpful. We didn't have to wait long when I brought my daughter due to a wheezing cough. We had a great experience at this clinic. Thank you so much!
I have been to this clinic a number of times and I'd say this is by far the best walk-in clinic. Always an amazing experience with the team. Well-organized, friendly, understanding and warm professional attention from receptionists, doctors and pharmacists. Thank you for your great service!
Took my family member here to the walk-in clinic, smooth service, we only waited around 15 minutes. Staff were friendly, the nurse and doctor Dr. Bandaranyake were knowledgeable, considerate and answered all our questions. Great experience overall, thank you to the staff at this clinic for your timely service!
I walked into this clinic even though it's quite far from where I live because they're nice and accepting of international students like myself. The three times I visited there were such a breeze. Special mention to Nurse Gina who was always accommodating and nice and thorough in her work!
I have been a patient here for may years and could not have been happier with the care I have been given Every single member of staff right from the nurses, to the doctors, to the pharmacists and their staff have been 100% amazing. I would highly recommend them as a clinic for all your health needs they are so very caring, kind, considerate and empathetic and your health truly matters to them. Dr. Jerry is one of those doctors who, though he is busy, goes the extra mile to take good care of you. He'll ask the important questions & make you feel heard. He is professional & caring as he aims to meet your medical needs. Grateful for you & the medical team, Doc. God bless you & yours!
I will say the staff are polite and kind, which is more than I can say for a lot of clinics. But that's it. Perhaps it's poor time management or poor communication on the clinic's part, but the wait times are out of control. I understand this is not entirely on the clinic's shoulders. Our health care system is falling apart and they can only do so much. So believe me when I say I can understand all sides of the issue. Here's my experience today: I was told to expect a 20-30 minute wait as walk-ins. I waited 4 hours instead and had to leave because I could not wait any longer. As a single parent and caregiver to an advanced alzheimers grandmother, I had no one to look after these two people beyond 1:30pm. This is an unacceptable wait time for a walk-in clinic. I know I'm not the only one and everyone has their story. I feel for all the parents with sick babies and toddlers in that clinic today. I don't know what to say, but something has to change. Not just for this clinic, but all of our clinic's in Ontario.
