I went to this clinic last week, the doctor who received me was Dr.mitra.M, she was very nice, she helped me refer me to the obstetrician in the hospital I want to give birth, I really appreciate her because I am new here , my English is not very good, and I am not familiar with everything, her kindness and patience gave me a lot of support. When the first hospital didn't accept me, Dr.mitra.M immediately referred me to another hospital. Fortunately, an obstetrician accepted me soon. In addition, the front desk receptionist is also very friendly, especially the front desk sitting in the middle, she is very nice. Overall, I am very grateful to them.
This is not a walk-in if I need to make an appointment first of all. When I came in no one greeted me and when I approached the receptionist, they acted as if I wasn’t standing there. Very cold atmosphere. My health card was expired and she told me I have to PAY $100 plus the price for the lab that she didn’t disclose even though she should know if she has her office admin medical. This as we all know is NOT allowed as citizens in Ontario; to ask me to pay for health care. I was then denied service because of my expired card which is also against the law! She then told me to go to service Canada and wait in that damn line up. I left the clinic crying because my situation was very dire and I feel she didn’t take it into consideration at all. If you’re working with people, you should at least have empathy and be compassionate to their needs. 0 stars, 0 likes, 0 love.
Receptionist at the front desk is extremely rude. She tried to force me to buy mask from the pharmacy with in the clinic. I understand the wearing mask is important. Its there private policy they she be providing mask , I did not wearing one. When i asked her to give me one she became very rude and asked me to wait back in the line cause I wasn’t wearing mask , even though i was first one in the line . When she gave me the mask she literally threw it at me and spoke in a poorly manner. This is unacceptable . I was asked to bring cash for the check up i was goin to do, and Asked to pay them in cash . After this behaviour I didn’t want to be there and i was goin to pay by cash not health card. They really need to make sure they treat people right. Everyone should be treated with respect. Again I wasn’t against wearing mask . It was here demeanor. Don’t not ever consider coming to this location. Not recommended at all.
For a walk-in clinic, they do not provide PAP test unless your a registered client there. Which is weird because I was told all medical clinics do provide this type of test regardless of you being a client or not and can be illegal to deny this. Also, their website states the are accepting new patients, but when I called, the receptionist stated they are current not taking anyone right now and call back in the New year...Either she is lying or they need to update their website as false information is being disturbed to the public. Unprofessional. I don't know if I want to family doctor from this place that doesn't even keep up with their website and conduct accessible test that is vital to the female.
One of the worst clinics in this neighborhood. The receptionists are rude and lack the empathy and understanding that’s required in an environment such as this. The doctors are almost always unavailable even if you’re registered with them. Stay away unless you absolutely need urgent medical care.
I was visited by Dr. Mitra Mohammadi. First annoying thing was the receptionist who was asking me about my personal medical problem; that was very odd to me! The Dr. herself had an attitude; was cold and unfriendly. She is Persian, and in Persian language unlike English language there are 2 forms of “you” or second-person pronouns; one is informal and it’s completely fine to be used with friends and close people, yet if it’s used with non-close ones, like in a doctor- patient relationship, it is a “real” rude and belittling manner. She was constantly talking this way. She did not even do the very simple procedure I needed, while the same day I saw another family doctor who did the required procedure at the same visit!!!
I'll give 3 just because is clean, not busy and the doctor really shows that he cares but how can you tell a patient that priority are "appointments" when is a walk in and there's no link in the website to make one?!!! We showed up at 925 and no one was in the clinic waiting and the patient I brought needs assistance ASAP. Waited for an hour to come in. Plus the attitude of one of the receptionists is the worse now for the second time... Will update the post after the patient receives care...in the meantime we are still waiting
The staff are super unfriendly they act like they don’t want you there! for a walk in she told me I have to make an appointment!!!! I’m a very rude manner! She doesn’t even bother touching my health card. Don’t bother going to this place the only reason I tried to go back because the doctors are great.
Worst place ever the front desk people never pick up and leave you on call for 20 minutes I have been trying to contact my Family Doctor for the past three months. Unbelievable.
Very rude receptionists! I decided to leave this review after many times experiencing their rudeness. I echo everything said by the others- including an incident with the expired card- in a very rude way she told me that the government is wrong- the validity of the card is not accepted until September. The doctor is very good, but the receptionists... very very rude... I always get a negative energy from them...
