Dr Gorja was my GP before who no longer practice here. I have yet to see new GP who they hve transferred my file too. This review is for their receptionist Mary ann. Nicest person I have ever talk to. She is always helpful, so kind and polite. Half your pain is gone after talking to her.
The new staff are the worst, they don’t care for their patients, the patients are just $$ to their eyes. They don’t follow up with you, never answer the phone and whenever you can get an appointment after calling 100000 times they will have hang up on you if you discuss more than one health issue at your appointment! Dr. Dr. Annissa Fadaz Is the worst, not sure why she’s a doctor. A complaint will be filed with the Collage of Physicians!
Amazing doctor, she has been our family doctor for the last 3years and we find her very knowledgable, patiently listens to your concerns and provides best advice. Office ambience is good too and staff is quite responsive and considerate.
Dr. Gorja is our family doctor and became so pretty much when the clinic opened. She is thorough and attentive, and we are very happy having her treat us. The pharmacy next door is also very convenient and the staff are wonderful caring people.
I initially came to Dr. Gorja because of the positive reviews and her clinic looked very well maintained. The first couple of visits for basic items colds, throat infection went fine; the front staff were very nice and helpful and Dr. Gorja was helpful enough. A few months later I developed something more serious surrounding my menstrual cycle and the naturopath I had been seeing at the time suggested that I may need to get a blood test to see if my iron or other levels were low. When I brought up my concerns with Dr. Gorja, I waited to see what she had to say before asking for a blood test, and at first, because of the mood issues I mentioned, she believed all of my issues to be caused by anxiety and stress. Her conclusion was that I should just take birth control and antidepressants and I should be fine. I knew that my issues were being caused by something else more serious, because my anxiety and stress weren't bad enough to cause the issues I had been having. So I asked if I could just get the blood test to see if anything else was wrong, like my hormones or iron. She dismissed this idea and said these levels were probably fine and there's no need to get a blood test. I felt trapped and eventually agreed to the antidepressants but I never filled the script and ripped it up when I got home. A month later I found a new family doctor and he immediately knew something more serious was wrong after I described all my symptoms; he also thought she was crazy for trying to throw birth control and antidepressants at me to solve the problem. He immediately prescribed a full blood panel and an ultrasound, and within two weeks we found out that I have PCOS and my iron levels were very low. He then suggested many lifestyle changes and iron supplementation, and now, a few months later, I feel much better. And I'm so happy that I'm not dependent on birth control and antidepressants to mask my problems; they would have just made everything worse.
I was so lucky that my FD was not able to see me and I found this walk in clinic. I cannot say anything more highly about both Dr Sayani and Dr Gorja they were excellent. They took the time to listen and I would recommend them any time. So lucky to have them in my neighbourhood.
Great place! Polite receptionist and very welcoming! I saw Dr. Juliana Gorka and she was amazing, attentive, listened to my pains and gave me all options. Truly recommend this place.
Dr. Gorja needs to learn to actually listen, talk and treat a patient. I do not recommend her if you're looking for a good doctor.
