I had to ask if they had any left at any other location so that it can be sent to the Coquitlam location. They checked and gave me hope that they will send it out. After this interaction, one of the guys from the store came to the store front and told me that they would sort it out and get back to us with a decision. I left the store and waited for the good news that I was hoping for, which was that they send the item to the Coquitlam location so that we can pick it up. Fast forward the next morning, my wife checked her email and saw that they refunded the product without contacting us and we realized that they sent that email the minute I left the Metrotown location!! This is unacceptable, we were expecting a call so that we can work something out to grab the product we wanted. I just want to say that this kind of customer service is unacceptable. If you couldn’t have done anything, just say it on the spot, not tell us one thing, and then when I turn my back, you immediately do something different. At the end of the day, we were not the ones at fault, we just wanted the product. You had successfully lost a costumer.
I love the style and vibe of the store but their customer service ruined everything. I understand they are busy and rushing into organising the store but they just bothered to help customer which is their duty i guess? Especially the experience at the fitting room was totally awful. Thank you for making my wallet closed.

Worst store. Nobody is friendly no smiles, hellos. But one attendant decided to reorganize the product I had just put down, while I was asking my friend to hold a water bottle for me so I could try it on. Seriously super rude.
I've only started shopping here recently. I needed a break from the steep prices at Aritzia and the less than impressive clientele sale. I LOVE the aesthetic of this store. The colours they have there are totally my vibe. They are very neutral/earth tone shades. I love that most of their items are oversized and how they hang on my body. The pieces are very well cut and shaped. have mixed feelings about the staff there. In general I do find the male staff more friendly and helpful. Some of the female staff are fantastic!!!! But others give the impression they don't wanna be approached or bothered when being asked a question. They don't check their tablet and just give a vague answer eg. no i don't think we have that anymore But it's still on your w/s -_-" I do agree with the reviewer below that they don't like getting return/exchanges. I do find that their mood totally changes when that's what you're there for. Speaking of return, their policy... is awful. I never understood how a retail company gets away with just giving customers a 'store credit'. I would think even a 7 day window would justify a refund back onto original method of payment. you can't really get a good idea of how things fit in the store or how you will like it until you get home and start matching it with things you own etc. Because of this return policy... i will really need to think twice about buying from here as once I do, i'm automatically out the $$$
Sales associate ameera was very helpful in picking out an outfit for a party. She was dressed to impress and complimented me a lot. Happy to see a hardworking retail employee that actually seemed to care about helping me and not just getting a sale. Clothes available are ok. Nice place
customer service is awful. They won't even talk to you noticing that you want to return and exchange stuff. The cashier didn't print out my store credit and rushed to next paying customers without confirming whether I received it or not in my email. After a while, I still didn't receive the credit in my email, and I asked back for a paper credit, the staff was not patient and rude and kept me waiting after all the paying customersaround 5 customers paid for their stuff. The cashier just gave me credit and didn't even bother explaining how to use the coupon and kept rushing me to go away. What bad experience! Oak and Fort doesn't do returns is already a very bad practice in the industry. But look at the staff they trained, rudeness. Is there way to complain about this? I want to find out whom the cashier is? A man having make-up on. Please apologize for your rudeness!!
New bought sweater is like this, I couldn’t even wear it out, all these red fuzz has expanded to my heel even wore it as a top. Found the pants has a hole when I want to wear it. Mainly everything I bought from here can’t wear even two or three times. Very poor quality except overcoats. : very sad with the purchase, probably won’t come back again.
One employee in particular was very sincere and helpful tonight at Metrotown and I wish I had their name, but I was too shy to ask. I had a lot of questions as I was picking up an online order and also shopping in store and needed advice and many different sizes. I also wanted to match some other Oak+Fort clothing I had bought in the past, and the employee seemed very genuine in wanting to help.
Absolutely terrible customer service. We had to ask for help multiple times because they kept forgetting about us. Everything felt like a straight up dead end with them rather then them trying to get a sale. Don't they want commission? They didn't have a size small for anything so we were told to check online. I looked on my phone and saw they had one at the store. It was on the mannequin. We asked to buy that one and have them replace it with a medium and they straight up said no. Such an easy task, but it was too much of a fuss. Take it off the online store if it isn't available...
