Motel 6 Spokane Downtown North

As a landlord, I needed to put my tenants up for a few nights while work was being done on their apartment. I made reservation online as 3rd party payer. I arranged for microwave/fridge. They arrived and no micro/fridge, plus the bathroom was not clean. We moved them to different room, and evidently it was OK, but when they took shower next morning, cold water. They were to stay 2 nights, but they checked out, and I had to find them another hotel. Personally, my experiences with Motel 6 have always been surprisingly pleasant, which is why I booked them there. This was disappointing and added stress to an already stressful situation.

We needed a room for our 3 kids and Us for the night so we pulled in at this location. My wife spent 20 minutes inside getting a list of rules we have never encounter at a Motel 6......anywhere. I should state that since we have a small dog Motel 6 is out go to spot, in any state. The counter Woman (Tisha) told my wife she didn't have a till, or access to a till and sent my wife off to find exact change because our room would be 89.00 flat.......for a room with 3 queen beds and we would only be allowed to enter and leave through one exit location even though there were other functional exits being used by others at the time. Weird. My wife crossed the street to a Chevron and was asked by a dark guy in baggy close if she wanted to buy CRACK, which he produced as proof of product I guess. My wife turned around and came back to the car and we left. 4 miles away there is another Motel 6 that the Woman at the counter (Jenn) was astounded to hear what we experienced and then got us the room, hospitality, and safety we disired. We love Motel 6, but maybe the one in Downtown Spokane isn't family ready and has a shady employee problem. Head over to the 1508 Motel 6 where Jenn proved to Us that kids are welcome and cash is not a problem.

if I could do negative 10 I would. run down, smelled, everything is broken. first room wasn't vacuumed, holes from cigarette burns all over, but the huge kicker was the freaking needle cap left on the damn floor!!!! REALLY REALLY. so I obviously I went back to lobby to get knew room and I will say, the girl I spoke with was very sweet and helpful, but the next room wasn't much better. this hotel is 100% a drug hotel. would NOT recommend at all.

I was visiting town for a weekend conference and stayed at Motel 6 because of their reasonable rates for rooms. I arrived in town a little earlier then I had expected and the staff was wonderful about getting a room ready as soon as they could in the middle of a busy weekend. The room was clean and cool, a great escape from the heat of the days activities. On my second night the key cards would not open my door but the front desk staff was quick to the rescue and got them fixed for me. It was a pleasant stay and I would suggest this location to anyone looking to save money on hotel costs but still wanting to stay at a quality establishment.

The hotel and hotel room smelled so poorly and had more than one quite obvious drug users hanging around the lobby that we didn't stay the night and instead just drove through the night to our destination. My expectations are really quite reasonable for a Motel 6. And not having a room that smelled very musty and like cat urine is not meeting those expectations. I can honestly say this was the worst hotel I have ever paid to not stay the night at.
