2022 June 5 This MEC location is nicely organized and laid out. Displays are nice. The staff was helpful and knew the products well. Not rushed or pushy. Purchased a MEC bag, great design and durability with YYK zippers. Great service. Free parking.

I love the clean, professional and very knowledgeable environment. Noah in the bike department helped me figure out what I was looking for and was very accommodating! He also helped me find the perfect hiking backpack. I will be returning and hope to deal with Noah again :

curious if any other rollerbladers or professionalls in the outdoor sports world can tell me if these wheels/blades look properly rotated/flipped? Stacy, their mechanic said she could do this no problem, charged me ten dollars to only change the order? and not flip. omw back home I could tell they weren't right and ended up taking a spill. I do hope to hear from someone soon. UPDATE- I had to get x-ray done on both elbow and wrist for my spill, elbow is badly scraped and bruised and wrist is badly sprained. you can see in the photos my admission bracelet and how swollen my elbow has become. I've lost a day of work and again, would like to hear from someone soon.

One stop shop for all you outdoor recreational needs. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is well lit and clean. The ambiance is nice and it is open and airy. Good quality products but sometimes pricey. There are washroom facilities. I have shopped at the store for many years and have always enjoyed the experience. There is lots of parking.

Update: Still great service and products. Outstanding help with updating my wife's cross country ski gear. My favorite store in Edmonton. I love to hike, cycle and ski and this is the place to go. New store looks great.

A large, beautiful, well-stocked sporting goods store for recreation and tourism. A very high quality and good product that I can't buy yet because I haven't made any money. I recommend it

Doug H. Knows his stuff. We discussed bringing down the weight of a hiking pack and I realized how little I've been paying attention to my weights and that for similar prices I could have cut my pack weight by 20% at least. With people like him working there I don't know why I shop other places sometimes.

Declan and Kent at the store helped me pick out my first canoe were amazing and very informative. They made my whole first experience with everything very stress free and exciting. I got all my appropriate gear as well all in one visit. I’m now water ready with just one simple visit.

Came in to grab a limited item that was on clearance. The sales associated quickly helped me get a hold of them off a mannequin no less and we were off! Quick and easy experience, great customer service!
