Good location MEC store with good parking roughy outside. Two levels store with good selections of outdoors and adventure clothing and gears. MEC has its own brand products with good quality.nnOutside parking tonight in front of the store.nnFriendly staff and well organized. Recommended!

Great gear but no customer service. The lady at the front was good, pointing me to where I needed to go, but when the store was quiet and there were over 10 other store staff walking about, none of them offered to help or even acknowledged I was there. They were all chatting with each other, probably debating who eats the most Granola. I almost walked out, but the gear was good so I bought 1 thing.

Fantastic Canadian born store for outdoor gear and clothing, with a wide selection of items for hiking, biking, climbing, kayaking, camping, running, and other outdoor activities. They have their own line of clothing and gear that is high-quality and moderately priced. They have an environmental ethos, with strong corporate sustainability commitments. This chain used to be a co-op that was member-run, though sadly it's now American-owned.

Annoyed. Called ahead to ask if a particular boot was in stock. They said yes it was. I said great I am heading there now. They said see you then. Arrived. They asked if I was the one who called I said yes. Then they said the item was not available, it was reserved for someone else, and I needed to go home and order it online to pickup another day. No apology or anything. Waste of my time I’ll go somewhere else.

One stop shop for all you outdoor recreational needs. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is well lit and clean. The ambiance is nice and it is open and airy. Good quality products but sometimes pricey. There are washroom facilities. I have shopped at the store for many years and have always enjoyed the experience. There is lots of parking.
