The footwear associate who helped me was fantastic! I didn't catch his name.....tall, thin and exceptionally knowledgable about ankles, knees and hips. I mentioned I had back issues.....he provided an abundance of information regarding the benefits of good insoles. Thank you sir!
Busy store! lots of helpful and friendly staff. Huge selection. Was greeted within 1 min of being in the store. Wish they had more till registers. The tills at the front are awkwardly close to each other. Made it a bit congested.
I can not say enough about the customer service I received at the Kingsway SportChek. The fact that I was there within a half hour of closing didn't make a difference. I was buying some winter wear for 2 young men who arrived in Edmonton in order to be safe from the war Russia has started with the Ukraine. Two staff in particular were very helpful, working extra hard to find sizes and the best prices possible. Keana who works in the clothing section and Mackenna who also offered assistance with the search. Without their expertise I would have been floundering, at the very least, and definatley would not have gotten such great prices. Kudos to young staff with such work integrity, who so pleasantly provided such thorough service at the end of of a long and busy day.
This store has a lot of products to keep you active. There are equipment for all sports: hockey, soccer, basketball, football, etc. All the sections are well organized and time to time they have good sales. Once I bought a jacket with 70% off. They are together with Canadian Tire and you can redeem points with the Triangle Card, which is pretty convenient.

The people in the service shop are amazing. I've had my bike serviced at their shop a few times and they are extremely helpful and dedicated to ensuring my bike was safe to use. When they don't have parts, they are knowledgeable in informing me of what specific part is needed and even where to purchase it for them to use or for me to fix myself. Brytone and John are the ones who helped me out and they are extremely knowledgeable people.
It was good, the Kingsway staff were nice and helpful. Sorry to hear the City Centre location may be closing though.
We had very friendly service from Dillon, very helpful young man. The only complaint was the shoes we were looking for were not in stock.
They do not honor the sale price that's attached to the hanger. They even justify it.
At the mall searching for sandals and walked into Sportchek. First associate I encountered was standing at the cash desk, scowling into the abyss. No hello. Second one was pacing by the shoes, bouncing a ball. No word. Third and forth looked at me and walked on past, continuing their conversation. No greeting. The store was completely empty. As I left, no word. Had I found my dream shoes, I'd have gone elsewhere. This was a very similar experience to when i worked at a daycare. If anyone needs a job, Sportchek looks like the easiest gig around.
