This is likely the best costumer service experience I have ever had. After a horrible experience at another bike shop, these guys went above and beyond to get me back riding. A special effort was made, not only to fix problems, but to ensure I understood how the bike needed to be Set up. The bonus, of course, is that these guys got my bike out the door in a timely fashion. This shop is staffed with the most helpful, considerate, hard working, and knowledgeable people, second to none. I would highly recommend this shop. They care about their work and strive to build lasting customer relationships.

People are friendly, nice selection. However, they will not service your bike if it wasn't purchased there. I brought in a vintage project bike to get the wheels trued, and to ask some questions about the derailleurs. They told me that if it wasn't purchased from them, they would not touch it. I cant see how this policy would be helpful attracting new business. I hope the next closest bike store doesn't have the same policy..

Excellent staff, service, and selection. I'm beyond pleased with my Talon 2 and everyone who helped me find the right fit for me. They even took the time to explain the frame sizes and differences between other bikes I was looking at. The compassionate staff even put me on an indoor trainer so I could test ride the bike safely! Highly recommend this shop to everyone but try to go during the week as on the weekends they are one of the busiest bike shops in Edmonton! :

Just bought my new Cruiser from Western Cycle. The staff are so friendly! As soon as I walked in 3 people said hello to me right off the bat. I was then quickly directed over to Daniel who was going to show me the bikes in the show room. I already had my bike in mind. He quickly tracked it down and had everything adjusted for me. He also helped me pick out my basket and held different colors up to see what matched better yes, I am THAT person. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. So impressed, and LOVE my new bike. Thank you guys again!!

The best customer service I've ever received at a bike shop. Sales staff is very knowledgeable and excited to help and answer all my questions. The service department produces quality work and are quick!! They are also patient with me as I don't know much about bikes but I ride the crap out of them. Bought my DH bike there and am currently looking at a couple different trail bikes there. Love this place.

As an avid mountain biker I've frequented all the local bike shops and Western continuously exceeds my expectations in terms of bike knowledge, service, turnaround times and overall customer service. Someone is always willing to help me out no matter how busy they are. Mark, the Service Manager goes well out of his way to make sure that I have everything that I need for my rides and races, from repairs, ordering parts, customizing my bike and recommending new products. I've now purchased 6 bikes at Western at will continue to be a loyal customer. Thanks Western for great experiences and awesome bikes!

Great bike shop in a central location. Good selection of bikes and parts, and can usually order stuff in pretty quickly. They do good service with quick turnaround. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that can make solid recommendations based on what you're looking for. In some cases when they weren't super busy they did my repairs on the spot which only means I can get back on my bike sooner. Sign up to their facebook feed and you can get a heads up on their sales.

Dropped in today to check it out. I started to browse around parts and within 30 seconds, someone was there, helping me and giving me information about something was interested in. Not 20 minutes later I popped both my tires on my bike on a pothole and came back to repair the flats. Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to use one of their pumps to work on my bike, but from a business standpoint easily understandable. I asked them to install the tubes and within 10 minutes I was out the door. Exceptional, friendly service from the service area and the front desk.

I bought a bike today from this shop and could not be happier!! Dave was so helpful in finding me my perfect bike. He took a ton of time and let me try out a number of options while answering all of my questions. He understood my budget as well as what I wanted to use the bike for - the shop was very helpful without being pushy. A bigger space to test out the bikes would have been very helpful but that's my only critique. When I found my bike, they spent time first ensuring it passed the safety check and then making sure it was adjusted properly for me. Afterwards, Dan, a different employee, went through a number of teaching points and after years of riding I learned so much! Thank you very much Western Cycle - this was a fantastic experience and I'm so pleased with my new bike! :

Excellent customer service from the whole staff. Daniel was extremely knowledgable and helpful while we were choosing a bike. It was busy and he managed to help multiple people efficiently, along with myself without making any one person feel neglected.
