October 13th 2024 is the last day I'll EVER enter a McDonald's. Without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I've ever had. My experience was so bad that I'm considering contacting a lawyer that specializes in racism. At the very least, I'm going to let my social media followers know that going to McDonald's is a NO-GO.nnI ordered a coffee and you would think that that was a simple enough order that it couldn't be screwed up - spoiler alert! it was. When I mentioned to the young woman of colour working that I was sure that it tasted off and that it didn't taste like my usual McDonald's coffee, I was told I was a LIAR and what was she supposed to do about it? OUTRAGEOUS behaviour on the part of an employee, had she been one of my employees, she'd be getting her walking papers. I realize that it was 10:30pm on a Sunday on a Thanksgiving Day weekend but hey, you bloody signed up to work then do your job properly and don't steal from the company.nnIt would appear that McDonald's expects their patrons BUT NOT their workers to adhere to a long list of acceptable and unacceptable behaviours. I'm not comfortable with that hypocrisy and nor should you be. I'm a senior and perhaps she hates seniors for whatever imagined reason. Given that she's a McDonald's employee, by extension, McDonald's hates seniors.
McDonald's is always great for quick food & great coffee! :nLate evenings tho, even with steady business, it's a long wait & they're always low or out of fruit n fibre muffins. They are great, so I guess that's why they run out first. **A fruit n fibre with Low or NO sugar wld be the best!!
Every single time I use this McDonald's my order is wrong! Not just a little wrong... like nowhere close to what was ordered. Charge extra to add cheese but don't put it and no apology when you have tongo 3 blocks down carling to even turn around to get back to the McDonald's after you figure out nothing is what was ordered. Terrible service, Terrible management, incompetent kitchen staff. Please train your employees so they can properly do the job!!
Friendships and love are very present here. The service was excellent and the food was scrumptious. I’ve seen young people grow in their friendships because of this place. My friend said «  if we snapped a picture right now it could be a McDonald’s ad people are so happy ». Also, this is a great place for anime fans. I cannot fathom the 3.6 stars right now. We ordered the McRib, because it was a limited time item. Service was good, staff was nice. This is one of the only McDonald’s in Ottawa that does their cheeseburgers differently, and my partner always gets one when he’s in the area. The cheese is meltier and the onions are more caramelized.
