What's not to love about five guys? The lady at the cash was SUPER friendly and awesome. My wife got the little CB on a lettuce wrap because of allergy. I got the little CB on a bun. We got our toppings. It was freaking delicious. We didn't get the fries this time but we did get a drink and they have the old fountain dispensers, not the new-fangled we'll mix it for you kind. That was nice.nnAll in all, great.
The burgers are somewhat pricy but always worth it, the one thing that I would say is that a toasted bun is the only upgrade that could be made. The toppings are free and a regular burger comes with two 6oz patties; making the burger super filling and surprisingly not greasy at all. Fries are always great, and the free delicious peanuts are the cherry on top!
I normally do not eat beef burgers, but with the hamburgers at Five Guys being so good, I make an exception when I come here. When I want to eat a Five Guys burger in Ottawa this is the location that I normally go to. I find the service here very good, the burgers amazing, and the serving of fries to be generous.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place had loud music which I actually liked. You could have a conversation comfortably. The free peanuts were a nice touch. Pretty expensive but everything nowadays is expensive. The burger was very mediocre. Nothing wrong with it but nothing outstanding. They put a ton of fries in the bag but I think that's normal and pretty low cost for them. I don't think I would try them again just because of the price.
Wow, some of the best fries I’ve ever had! The fries are freshly cut and fried and you can really taste it. They are fried in peanut oil that is really strong tasting, but personally I don’t mind. Really liked how they were transparent about where their potatoes came from. Also loved the milkshake with unlimited mix ins, and caloric info right on the order board! I can’t comment on the burgers but my experience here was really good! Very clean and free refills on sodas - unbeatable.
