The reservation was easy to make, and the staff was extremely helpful in accommodating our special requests. The ambiance was great, and the food definitely lived up to my expectations. We tried the house recommendations, and if you visit the restaurant, you should too. This is a must-try if you are looking for a nice cozy place for dinner .

i of course LOVED the location and the atmosphere, the DJ was great and added to the whole experience. it’s got an amazing view and i would totally come back our server checked on us frequently but as it started to get busier we saw less of them and it was therefore difficult to get our bill. however, that wasn’t a big deal at all, the experience was still amazing

Lavelle may be past it's prime but it's well established as one of the go-to rooftop spots in Toronto. Never tried the food here as it doesn't seem like a reputed feature here. The main appeal is no doubt the rooftop setting itself and the spectacular job they do at using it. The service here is disappointing though. I made a reservation for a table with some friends. When we arrived, we were initially being ushered to wait in line which would have caused us to lose our table. I had to negotiate with the bouncers to have our reservation honored so we could skip the first line. However there was another line for the elevator, and then another wait upstairs with the clerk while they scrambled to prepare our table. We ended up with a table towards the outskirts where the view wasn't the best. There was some tech event going on that really impacted the makeup of the crowd & the overall way the night played out. They had some unused booths. Even though we got a bottle, they did not allow us to move in to one of them because it was a $3K+ min spend. After we got our bottle, we pretty much never saw our server again after she got her fat gratuity. It was a but difficult getting our chaser refills. Other than that, the music was pretty good and the vibe was immaculate. Would love to return for pool hours in the future.

a beautiful place to enjoy, I really have to say that they SHOULD have someone more friendly at the entrance reception, my complaint: the girl at the door which is attached in the photo, is super rude with little patience, she had a blister opened with pills because I am allergic and she only wanted me to give her my medical prescription something that I did not imagine I should have in my pocket, the worst thing was that to check my purse she put her hands inside my bag something that I saw totally out of place and I told her that she should not do it, that I should take out what I had inside and she should look and touch the outside. On the contrary to this my server was SANTIAGO a super loving young guy who turned around the situation I lived before entering this beautiful place. Which did not matter with my friends to leave having made the reservation in advance. Yes I recommend the place and that other users if they live the same with the person at the entrance that they expose it so that their owners know and review this. Good food, music and above all nice atmosphere. 4 stars for the service of the girl at the door. Otherwise it would be perfect.

Came here to try the summerlicious menu. $45 dollar for an appetizer, main and dessert is actually a very good deal.nnI tried the avocado maki which has a really good flavor. Strange at the beginning but tasteful as you keep eating. Healthy plate as well for those who look after the calories when eating outside. Chicken jerky tacos were good as well, chicken was tender, juicy and the tortillas were soft, achieving a flavorful final product.nnAs main I ordered the wagyu mac burger with truffle fries, but turned out to be disappointing. The name of the plate deserves a very good quality product. The wagyu meat was overcooked, with some burnt taste. The mayo and dressing were just fine, but not adding up any extra flavor to the burger. And the fries were correctly cooked, however they didn’t have enough truffle to get to that truffle taste point. They did have parmesan cheese which is the right complement, but not enough to achieve that nowadays very common truffle fries plate.nnBarbecue chicken tasted very good, and cooked to the right point. It was not dry.nnAs dessert, they offered three different types of ice cream: vanilla, taro and black sesame. All three tasted very good and had well achieved flavors.nnService and staff was good and attentive, always asking if something easy needed or ready to clear up the table when you were finish.nnAmbience is great, you can eat right next to the pool to enjoy the warm weather and listen to the DJ playing good hits.
