I love this little shop! Such amazing quality the beaded bracelets are my absolute fave, I have purchased multiple for myself and as gifts for family and friends. The staff are always so helpful! 5 stars all the way.
ABSOLUTELY THE RUDEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’VE EVER EXPERIENCED, ESPECIALLY WITH A JEWELRY STORE! Today my mother, grandmother, and I came across this shop. Grandmother was interested in this particular ring. So this middle aged worker comes to greet and asks us what we’d like to check out thinking this interaction would be like any other, but I was so wrong for what is to come. She then proceeds to ask “which column and row?”, my grandma who cannot speak English tells my mother which ring. My mother not completely fluent in english is then a bit confused as to which one since there’s quite a bit of selection on the tray, normally you can pull the whole tray out and show on the table so she tells the worker a couple of numbers “the 3rd one / the one to the right” ETC, correlating to the column and row, I understand if the worker was confused as well. When all of a sudden the worker proceeds to raise her voice every couple of secs “NO NO WHICH COLUMN AND ROW” AS IF SHES TRYING TO EDUCATE US THE FKING DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A COLUMN AND A ROW, would also sigh a couple of times while turning to her coworker. Excuse me but there’s no reason for you to yell at us, I was completely in awe of the situation and was unable to speak up for my family at the moment shortly we just said thank you and left. Who knows if that worker would just raise her voice at customers often and without reason. Because of this interaction it sets up the whole situation that she’s passively racist we’re POC and I’ve been in situations where it’s happened to my family. It’s really upsetting how often this occurs. Please read this as a suggestion to review the priorities and basic fundamentals of what customer service should and should not look like in future interactions.
The lady that helped us was super patient while we found our rings plus everything is very reasonably priced for the quality of the products
Low quality products with high prices. No return policy which is ridiculous cause if you’re sure that you’re selling high quality and unique product, you would be ok to have at least a short term period for returns. I believe, it’s great to support local businesses but they must have great customer service, return and exchange policies and fair prices. The bead bracelet is torn after a few times wearing it. They were expensive and low quality. They said I can only exchange one of the items and I have to keep the other one. I couldn’t even find anything unique there to exchange. You can find almost every single item on Ali express for $2-$3.
My wife picked up two bracelets from these folks 4 days ago for my B day. I tried to return them as the clasp on one simply would not work and the second one was not something I'd wear. My wife indicated, when she gave them to me, that she'd asked before purchasing and was advised they could be returned...of course, it's a different lady there today and she said they can't. I couldn't find any signage on the kiosk indicating sales were non-refundable. While waiting for this disappointment, I watched a sale be conducted with no mention to their new victim about a "no refunds" policy. I left with "in store credit". I hope they enjoy the $90...it'll be the last "net new revenue" they'll ever get from anyone over whose opinion I have any influence.
Low quality jewelry. Will tarnish and lose its plating within months. When I went in to see if there was anything the store would do for me, they accused me of causing it by putting hand sanitizer on while wearing jewelry, which was just not true…. Wouldn’t recommend shopping here.
I bought a gift for my sister when everything was closed down in June. I also couldn’t resist buying a ring for myself. You always take a chance when you buy online, but I was impressed with the quality. Their customer service was also great. When I need something as a gift, or for myself it’s one of the first places I look.
Love this wonderful store! It's my go-to for gifts and unique jewelery for myself. They have so many things that you can't get anywhere else. They even engraved the word 'Grandma' written by my daughter on a piece for my mother-in-law. She now has a gorgeous, personal necklace that she loves to show off. I have worn my red beaded bracelet everyday, all day for over a year without a worry and I get so many compliments on it! The staff is polite, attentive and dedicated to finding just the right thing for whatever I need. Can't wait for a reason to go back!
I brought my Pyrrha necklace to the kiosk in hopes of replacing the chain because the clasp had broken. To my surprise they gave me a brand new chain for free. That is what I call service that is above and beyond my expectations. I love my necklace and recommend any one who wants a Pyrrha necklace to check out Layered Charms at Chinook. You won’t be disappointed. .
I have used Layered Charm on several occasions now. I came across it doing my Christmas shopping. After 5 minutes of talking to the staff I walked away with the perfect personalized present for my wife that pulled at her heart strings!! Ever since then, it has been a go to to mark special occasions, holidays, family changes, and memories! Thank you Layered Charm... I owe you big time!!
