Definitely understand the hype and why it’s rated in the Torontos best sandwich list of 2024.nnGrab your bread first before going to the line - something I didn’t know until we were already in line. Good thing the two teenagers behind me were talking loud and I was able to catch onto this nnI tried the house special and understand why it is so special. It’s a simple sandwich, but the flavours all together are super tasty. The dynamic of the fresh mozzarella, tomato and variety of meats really go hand in hand nnIt’s nice to see shops like this in Toronto, as they are pretty rare to come by. The shop itself is a food emporium and deli, with a sandwich spot in the back. Service goes by quick especially on weekends, so there isn’t much interacting to do.nnIs it the best sandwich I’ve had in Toronto? Honestly, maybe. The sandwich is simple but I loved the quality of everything and the hot pepper jam really topped things off. Could I make this at home? Probably. But this is still a place I’d recommend for others to try!

This is a takeout only spot, plan accordingly as you’ll need to find a spot to sit somewhere else after getting your sandwich. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will be back!nnIf you’re here for the first time…nn- Step 1: Grab your bread of choice after you enter.nn- Step 2: Ask for the sandwich you’d like sandwich area is closer to the back of the store. We got the house special - contains prosciutto, mozzarella, tomato, salami, fig jam, and hot pepper jam.nn- Step 3: Pay at the front counter.

This place is legendary, I don't even have to write anything just go. Ask Carlo whats good he won't steer you wrong. I left with two sandwiches, it was more than I could handle but I had no regrets. Can't wait to go back.

It was a bit overwhelming going in but the staff are kind and helpful. You choose your choice of bread near the entrance and tell them what kind of sandwich you would like.nnThis place is my go to whenever I'm in the area and I always get the house special!

It was good. Was it mindblowingly good? Not really, but still a great sandwich overall. I recommend the “House Special” and that flavor only. The fig jam goes well with the saltiness of the cured meats.
