Pancer's Original Deli

Pancer's is about as old school deli diner as you can get. It is a smallish restaurant which I imagine can get easily filled during busy periods. Coming in just after they open the place was pretty empty and the service was very quick and friendly. Now for the important part the food and in particular the corned beef sandwich. The meat was excellent, moist and not too salty and the bread phenomenal very fresh and soft. If I were to nit pick I would say that the meat could have been sliced a little thicker for a better mouth feel but that is more of a personal preference. If you are in the neck of the woods definitely worth a visit.

I would say Pancer's is my number one choice for a great deli in Toronto.nVery cozy, relaxed atmosphere. We had great service from Gabriella who answered all our questions and made great suggestions. She was very attentive, even brought us containers before we asked her for our take home bag. The portions were delicious and substantial !!!nWe were three and ordered Reuben, Chopped liver platter and the Corned Beef Sandwich. Highly recommend this deli!!

I ordered twice from Pancer’s in the past week on UberEATS. First time tried the popular corned beef, pastrami, and roast beef sandwiches. All travelled well, massive and were insanely good. I like that I had the choice of lean or medium for the roast beef I chose lean. Second time had a houseful of hungry people and ordered corned beef and pastrami as well as potato salad and pickles. Everyone loved it, “where are these from?!”nI’ve ordered and tried deli sandwiches from others smaller, often too salty, less meat, and Pancer’s beat them all in quality and price.nWarm juicy sandwiches filled with tender, thinly sliced meats that isn’t too salty…it warrants a real visit. If it’s this good after traveling 30 mins in a steamy paper bag, it must be even better in person. Love that they took the time to thank me for the UberEATS rating, nobody ever does that. Wow! Amazing smoked meat, fresh, large portions, excellent service, good prices. Best Montreal style smoked meat in the city, since 1957. Highly recommend.

Me and my parents love this place, a bit of a travel but it's worth it for an amazing experience. Personal favorite is the roast beef but pastrami is good as well. The coleslaw probably the best one I had any where.
