This review would be a 4-star except the first night of a two night stay was in a room over the pool (200, and I would suggest avoiding it).  For some reason the pool is open 24 hours a day.  The door on the pool room bangs shut whenever it is opened.  We called and complained at midnight and it continued, along with a lot of whooping and hollering, until 2am.  It started banging again at 6:30am.  I can't imagine why La Quinta thinks 1.) it's okay to have guest rooms directly over the pool  2.) it's acceptable for the pool to be open 24 hours a day  3.) a door that closes with a bang is acceptable  4.) when complaints are received it's okay not to deal with it.  To be fair, the morning staff apologized, offered to move us to another room, and we had a  pleasant stay the second night.  Although we have stayed here on several occasions and been satisfied,  I think we're probably done.

Great people and customer service is superb! Saw my first snowfall here, so it's a very tranquil location. Also, saw a deer run where the river is located. My room faced the river. There's excellent choices for heating up soups and small dinner in their mini store in front desk. Best place to eat dinner is just down the road to Applebee's. Definitely coming back to visit again!!!!

As of this writing, the hotel is under renovation. The lobby was stripped bare but, it looks like they're on their way to making it a beautiful place. I've stayed here two times now and would recommend it to anyone visiting Great Falls. We used it as a stopover on our way to Las Vegas with a morning flight the next day. Wholly recommend this hotel for a family stay or just an overnight as you move on.

Love staying here. They treat me great the rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. Their breakfast is always good. I never stay anywhere else when I am in great falls.

This place was great. I was passing through on the river and needed a few days off and I was able to store my kayak in back. I ended up ending my trip due to medical concerns and the staff was very helpful.
