Holiday Inn Great Falls

Had some family things to attend to early in the morning and had taken my bag with me. Came back to the hotel at about 1100 to clean up and take care of a few things before going to the airport. I’d been notified I’d been checked out by the flippant front desk clerk. By 1120 she said I could stay in the room till 12 but due to being checked out no late check out would be available was requesting between 1-2). Holiday Inn in my mind was always a classy mid tier hotel that treated guests well. I will not be staying at Holiday Inns any longer, consider myself a Hampton Inn fan moving forward. This particular hotel: Old feeling Cold because of the giant water feature in the center Not overly professional staff Would not recommend as I think there are plenty of other better hotels in the area.

Nice staff and hotel. However the room was a bit chilly, this is most likely due to how cold it's been outside and the fact they use wall mounted units. The pool and hot tub seemed over chlorinated, but what do I know about chlorination. All and all it was a very good stay. If you like quiet rooms stay away from poolside, we have three kiddos so we deal with all noise regardless. (Sorry if my kids made too much noise.)

Let's start with the single king room I reserved over a week before my stay was not available.. The room they "upgraded" me to had a slant to it on one side of the room... The toilet kept running until you jiggled the handle just right to get it to stop. The AC/heater unit was broke and one side of its cover was on the ground. The staff would prop open the back door with a rock and let it slam against it. I would not stay here again even if they paid me the $200 I had to pay them.

Nice older hotel that could use some updating but is clean and comfortable and has everything you could want like a bar, restaurant, and a pool with a small slide. Our kids had a blast at the pool. The staff was freindly and professional and even the other gusts were nice.

This place is a joke!!! Our heater and bathroom light went out in the middle of the night. When we turned our room lights on, they flickered and faded in and out. Then when we turned on the coffee pot the lamp started smoking. The front desk's only response was "we will let maintenance know". Then on the way out my 3 young daughters and I got stuck in the elevator!!! I once again got the "we will let maintenance know" responds. At no point did anyone even apologize for our horrible stay!! We frequently stay in Great Falls for medical and NEVER again will we consider this place.
