The staff, from check-in to housekeeping,  delivered stellar service without fail for the entirety of my 3-day stay. They gave me extra towels. Every employee greeted me with a good morning, hello, or goodnight. They offered me assistance with coffee, gave out delicious cookies for free, gave me directions for some local shopping spots, maintained a clean and very friendly environment and convinced me that every employee working there thoroughly cared about their guests.

My husband and I have been upgraded twice to suites. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast bar. Highly recommend this hotel.

The receptionist on arrival was amazing, really helpful, quick, pleasant, informative. The room was small but adequate. The bathroom was filthy, long black hairs everywhere, the bath and shower unit had never been wiped and the vent was full of dust and above my head whilst showering. I went to let the receptionist know, but it was full in reception. I let the receptionist know in the morning that the bathroom needed a deep clean, she just grunted. I asked whether I would get an apology, she gave me a surly sorry, which was meaningless. I was very unhappy with the treatment and the state of the bathroom.
Breakfast was adequate. The bacon was overcooked, but the eggs were excellent. It would have been better to serve everything in biodegradable/recyclable containers and cutlery, as there was a lot of waste thrown in the bins.
