We had such a good stay that we stayed again two weeks later upon our return. I'd like to compliment the desk clerk, Milissa, for her friendly assistance and efficient handling of our requests. The beds were more comfortable than the other motels along our trip. We especially enjoyed the selection of pillows of varied softness/firmness. Finally, the breakfast was as good as we would get at a restaurant on the road. Thanks to everyone who helped make our stay so comfortable.
The staff was great except for the manager. if your platinum you better get your water when you check in, they will not allow you to have it later. The shower has problems with a spigot, would not go to full pressure. The TV will not change channels half the time, I would have to turn the TV off and back on to change channels.
So, we had a King Suite Reserved, but when we finally got to the hotel.. Our room was taken and the place was overbooked. But the sweet front desk lady, Debbie, got us taken care of! We are currently staying in a one Queen room. She got us a pullout bed and a crib for our 1 year old! Thank you so much again. P.S. I use to work hotel service, any management reading this review should make sure to take care of this employee! :
My dear mother cut herself on glass in the room but they were gracious enough to move us to another room and give us ice cream for our troubles. Nice free peanutbutter cookies and the lobby and firm shower heads. Air conditioning was perfect and not too humid
There isn't too many places to chose from in Great Falls. I have my Marriott rewards and stay here because there aren't any alternatives. The hotel is pretty loud and not the best for a light sleeper. My room smelled like smoke and made the stay somewhat unpleasant. The good - there was a handwritten note from the General Manager thanking me for my business, as well as his contact info. The staff is extremely courteous and they are willing to get you taken care of in a heartbeat. This is my second time staying here and the customer experience is what brings me back. If/when I come back to Great Falls, I would probably stay here again.
The staff is excellent and very friendly and helpful. The breakfast that is served is very nice, always 2 egg choices, 2 meat choices, cereal, waffles, yogurt, bagels, breads, and fresh fruit, and more. The pool is clean and the rooms are always tidy.
Great customer service! The clerk had to give our room to another guest due to the A/c unit not working. So in Turn he gave us the guest of the day parking next to the front door....and a suite to accommodate my family of 3 for the same price as the double queen. He made it work and didn't turn us away.....like other places would've said I'm sorry and turned us away even though we had a reservation. Thanks again! Would stay here all over again when passing through!
A HUGE shout out to Jason the operations manager at the Fairfield! There were three of us on a motorcycle tour in our way home when one of us needed a new rear tire. We stopped at the Fairfield and Jason was great! He stored our luggage and gear until we could get into our room later that day. He wrote down local attractions that we could go see to kill some time. The next day we were able to find a tire shop and get the necessary repairs done. Jason allowed us to do a late check out so that we didn't have to lug our gear around town. The room was clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced. Jason was able to give us a deal as well! I would stay here again and highly recommend this place to any travelers!!
Clean hotel but the heating is very outdated and hard to regulate. Pool is warm but floor is extremely slippery. TV's works but are to low in relation to the bed and no idea what is on because there is no TV guide or channel listing or anything.
I’m a pilot and frequently stay in Marriotts around the country. This was hands down the worst visit I’ve ever had. Had the room for 5 days of which 2 nights we actually spent away at a wedding in the mountains. When we got back from the mountains the heat was set uncomfortably high, the tv was on as well as every single light. Housekeeping had visited while we were gone but did not take out the trash or empty paper coffee cups laying around etc. the tv remote was missing. Girlfriend went down to the front desk and the woman working there was zero help but the housekeeper who cleaned it announced “they have towels what’s the problem?” Then realized my girlfriend was standing there and asked her “what’s your problem it’s clean” then proceeded to call her a “weirdo”. I asked to speak to a manager but apparently this property doesn’t think one needs to work on sundays. The individual at the front desk seemed especially confused. About 45 minutes later the head housekeeper came by and apologized and was able to bring a remote. The entire property is dated and unkept compared to a standard Marriott. I’ve probably spent 500 nights in a hotel and never once have I felt the need to leave a review. This is my first ever review here but such awful service deserves highlighted and apparently the management here doesn’t feel a need to make it right.
