2gather Seafood

Visited on a Wednesday evening with my wife. First off, the decor and atmosphere is a solid 5/5. The ambiance and environment is straight out of Cyberpunk 2077, making for a very cool environment to have drinks and great conversation. My wife started with a sake cocktail and I with a beer flight - both were generously poured and well made. Very refreshing cocktail and beautiful presentation on the beer flight, with printed descriptors for each brew. We tried a total of 6 dishes and the overall theme was clear: extreme freshness, umami seasoning, and ferocious heat. The lamb and beef skewers were a standout, with each being dry-rubbed and tender. The fresh black cod which was swimming happily in the saltwater tank near the bar just minutes before we ordered it was seasoned perfectly and drowning in a spicy, tangy broth. The pork belly bao buns were incredible, with the pork belly melting in my mouth before I could chew it. Several palate cleaners were served, including a cold prawn and baby octopus platter which made a perfect break before the dessert. Dessert was a massive portion of nitro-frozen grape yogurt with strawberry and vanilla soft serve - this was extremely delicious and not too sweet, even though the berry flavour was very pronounced. The servers were attentive and very friendly, and the restaurant provided an iPad for my wife and I to easily place orders on their robust menu. The iPad worked great and was very clean when handed to us upon entering. Overall, this restaurant offers extremely fresh food and a well-thought out menu. My wife and I left very satisfied and will be back to try their famous grilled fish.

Great place for sharing a meal with friends! The grilled fish was served piping hot and they really turn up the heat for spicy lovers out there. What I liked a lot was that they had a variety of non-spicy dishes to balance out the heat ex. plum tomato, shrimp balls,etc. Great variety of pretty drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

Was dine in with 6 ppl and we order many dishes and can’t finish all of them then take out and after a day still taste good even with reheating! Food and service are excellent! Also price is very reasonable. Customer can try different type of food and drinks! Good for group dine in and hangout!Food: 5/5

Amazing new restaurant in Richmond with cool vibe, delicious food and great service. All of the dishes I tried had good presentation and were yummy, including the spicy fish hot pot, beef tongue and chicken. Love their spacious private rooms which has karaoke and can cater up to 22 people.

This is a great restaurant! The food is authentic Chinese style and fish quality are fantastic! The decorations are traditionally Chinese style looks are so ancient, I rally love the decorations and the tableware. I will come again with my friends and my family.

Great tasty food. Never had this type of food before and absolutely loved the flavour. We had the shrimp on skewers, eggplant, chicken wings on skewers with fried rice. You can pick your spice level. We picked mild and it was perfect for us. The service was excellent. Very quick and helpful. We are just visiting but would of loved to try some other dishes and their drinks looked fantastic.

Been there twice now. Went there once for the fish~ it’s not bad, but I won’t say it’s a must eat. We had the vine pepper one, a tad bit too spicy for my taste but my friends did enjoy it a lot! The bbq skewers and frozen yogurt cubes however, ARE BOMB!!! Went there for the second time just for the skewers and frozen yogurt and left very full and happy. Drinks: ordered a plum something cocktail the first time, please just believe and not order that. Worst cocktail I’ve had…. Watermelon drink in the photo was great tho!!!! Worth a try and very insta friendly Vibes: kinda like a nightclub if imma be honest. Lots of funky music and led strips but it’s a fun vibe nonetheless!

Great restaurant with amazing authentic Chinese food! I like the grilled fish served by hot pot there with different flavors, we’ve tried the spicy and non-spicy ones both! And the house-made tofu, so delicious! Plus the fruit teas and deserts! Definitely will back again and highly recommend! And it is one of few restaurants in Richmond of which washroom served with hand cream!

A perfect place for birthday party. Big room, two tables, tasty food, enjoyable environment. Not much places for a 25 ppl party, 2gather is a good place for party.Food: 5/5

This place has exceeded my expectations! Food was great and I’m actually surprised with the price and quality. This place looks fancy, interior looks dope, and i thought it’d cost a fortune to get a meal. Got in at 1230 for lunch special that comes down to approx. $15 bucks all you can eat….. wowFood: 5/5
