The room was bright and sunny, and very clean, with nice amenities. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated. The furniture looked new. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a newer pullout sleeper couch.nnMy room was very quiet, perhaps due to the concrete walls. Aside from a small lounge on the main floor, there are no bars or similar places nearby, which makes for a quiet environment.nnThe heating does make a sound as it clicks on, but at the same time, it's nice to be able to control the heat yourself with the thermostat.nnThe staff is very helpful and friendly and the check in/ out was quick.nnIt appears that the dining room has been contracted to a private company, which, perhaps due to the location and traffic volume, and maybe the off-peak season, has specific hours for mealtimes in the dining room, so if you're looking for a quick coffee during the day, try the Cottage Bakery nearby. There are several other restaurants along that route if you don't mind a short drive.nnThe Freshco supermarket across the street has convenient hours and good selection, plus a pharmacy. Although it's located on a major thoroughfare, I couldn't hear any traffic noise.nnThank you for a pleasant stay.
It was a great hotel. The staff was very welcoming and kind. The service was good, we needed extra towels and for some reason there wasn’t a remote in our room, but staff brought us one right away. The location is good, I would it’s in a safe area. Breakfast was great lots of options. The room was clean, pillows were comfortable, we were happy. We didn’t make it to the pool too many kids with a soccer tournament going on. Parking was good. Overall I have nothing bad to say.
Holiday Inn Winnipeg South — Clean, Comfortable Stay Great Check-In, Mixed Check-OutnnOverall, my experience here was very positive.nn Check-InnnCheck-in was quick and smooth, and I appreciated being acknowledged as an IHG member right away.nn Room & CleanlinessnnMy room was very clean, well organized, and nicely arranged — a good, practical space overall. The washroom was also spotless with no unpleasant smells, which I always notice and appreciate.nn Common AreasnnThe common areas were clearly maintained and kept clean, which matters a lot — especially in winter, when entrances and hallways can easily feel messy.nn BreakfastnnBreakfast was good, and the breakfast area itself was clean and organized, with a comfortable setup.nn Check-OutnnCheck-out was the only downside. It felt a bit slow and confusing. This was Tuesday morning February 10 with a young lady on the other side of the desk. Misunderstandings happen — no issue there — but a simple smile or a little more consideration goes a long way in easing the experience.nn StaffnnAside from that moment at check-out, the staff overall were very friendly, and it shows that the hotel is being run with care.nnI’d stay here again, especially for the cleanliness, comfort, and solid overall value.
Excellent hotel with outstanding servicennWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spotless and very well maintained — housekeeping did an excellent job, with consistent and thorough cleaning.nnThe restaurant deserves special praise for its high-quality food, pleasant atmosphere, and attentive service. Everything was fresh, well presented, and enjoyable.nnThe front desk staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and helpful. They were always ready to assist and made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay.nnOverall, this is a very comfortable hotel with a high level of service. We would be happy to stay here again and highly recommend it.
This is an incredible hotel. Our room was very cozy, warm, and clean. The staff at the front desk were amazing — friendly, helpful, and welcoming.nnWe were especially impressed by a young man at the front desk unfortunately, we didn’t catch his name who speaks three languages: English, Russian, and Ukrainian. He not only performed his job very professionally but also went above and beyond to help us resolve an issue we had.nnThe hotel’s location is very convenient, and the view from the window was absolutely beautiful.nnThank you for the wonderful time we spent at your hotel.nWe highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
