Great location, attentive staff. Room has everytbing you need, including tables and a comfortable bed. Air is dry as in all hotels. The heated floor in bathroom is extra nice, but the room itself did get a little chilly in November. I was overall happy with it.
The only, and I mean ONLY redeeming part of this hotel was the man at the front desk who helped us.nSo first off. Couldn’t find anywhere about an additional 100$. Per stay.nThen, they don’t take cash.nOk, that’s fine. Whatever. Fix that up. Go to the room.nFor over 1000$ for two nights, you’d expect some really good stuff.nNo microwave.nSmall tv with a remote that didn’t worknPhone didn’t work properlynNo nice complimentary breakfast for the price we paidnnIt gets better.nWe put up a do not disturb sign.nThey went in anyways.nSo there’s now a privacy violation. When I brought it up to front desk they said they would investigate. I asked to be notified of it upon check out.nCome check out time no notification.nnThey sent someone to check on the phones at 10:00 PM. AT NIGHT. that’s during quiet hours an we were falling asked when they came.nnCompletely unacceptable.nnThis had to have been the absolute worst hotel I’ve been to. I’ve been to motels on the side of a highway in the middle of nowhere with better amenities and more privacy. -10/10. Will NEVER stay with this company again.
Overall, I had a really good experience at the Delta Winnipeg. The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable — the bed was super cozy, and the towels felt brand new. The staff were outstanding — very friendly, welcoming, and helpful at the front desk.nnThe only small downside was the noise in the room and the limited coffee supply only one decaf and one regular. It’s not a big deal since you can always ask for more, but if you’re traveling with someone else, it can be a bit inconvenient.nnAside from that, everything else was excellent. I’d definitely stay here again!
Shout out to the amazing customer service team! I accidentally left my laptop in my room this morning, and the front desk lady was so kind and helpful when I went to ask about it. The housekeeping lady who brought it back to me was just as kind. I wish I’d written down their names because they really deserve recognition. I stay at a lot of hotels, but I’ve never experienced service this thoughtful before, they even messaged and emailed me about the laptop before I realized it was missing. Huge thanks to the team for going above and beyond!
Immediately across the street from the convention center, this lovely hotel has all the amenities you look for.... good sized, clean quiet rooms, good food and very close to many great restaurants, full sized pool you can actually swim laps in, fitness facilities, and very professional and helpful staff. Close to nearly everything you want in Winnipeg and a short drive if not.
