I’ve stayed here multiple times but my recent stay was not ideal. Our check in was good, but at 7:10am someone was able to open my room door, it was locked so the door was closed and whoever was there did not stick around. I report this to the front desk staff who said it was the housekeeping manager who thought we had “checked out.” Instead of trying to knock on the door or call our room they decided they needed to barge in? Without announcing who they were and what they were doing. Not impressed when I’m spending $200 a night to be there. This is poor service and doesn’t make me feel this is a safe place to stay. No staff should be trying to access a reserved room at 7 in the morning. Make sure you lock your doors if you stay here.
My family and I stayed on this property from 6/3 - 6/7, 2024. We had a great and relaxing stay. The receptionists Rica, Liza and Roselle were very accommodating and always happy to help. The room we had was very spacious and very clean. Daily breakfast is also decent. The only comment I have is you need to have patience in finding their parking and hoping there was an indoor pool offered. Other than that the location is also very accessible to groceries, restaurants, etc. I highly recommend this property if you want to have a vacation in Toronto area.
If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. The room was very spacious and clean. The front desk staff and housekeeping department are very accommodating. The property is located across the street from a shopping plaza and there are lots of restaurants and grocery stores in the area. I will definitely stay here again.
Only good point was rooms were large and clean.nBad points:n- if you get a KITCHENETTE room you will HAVE to pay $50 for pans, cultlery silverware and anything you need to cook. You literally get an oven and thats it.n- its situated on a highway in what seems to be the dullest part of canada.n- the entire district is 99% dominated by 1 culture so its NOT multicultural lol. For a group of people that want diversity, when it’s their turn they don’t reciprocate in the slightestn- parking is horrible and shared with a massive chinese shopping centern- the bed frame will kick your ass with sharp cornersn- beds uncomfortablen- you need to pay $50 !!! for pots and pans for the kitchen in your expensive room !!!n- ovepriced expensive rooms
Rented a room in the hotel for a long term stay, firstly the room with sofa bed - the sofa bed is only good for small child, was completely unusable for a child 14 yo , not to mention an adult. they do say additional bed available at cost on the website but on reservation said it is not possible. The trains track right under the building so they are making so much noise we could not sleep properly, the shower had almost no pressure and the kitchen had not a single spoon to use. no proper table to sit at or chairs 2 high uncomfortable chairs and tiny high round table. the fridge is so old and bad that it froze every fruit or vegetable in it right away, the breakfast was not edible - only good for a tea only had 1 type and muffin, no dairy products, vegetables. i mean how you can make bad eggs? from the good - washing machines were decent, location is ok Young and steels and parking was available - entrance is at another building right behind it. staff was smiling but not really helping much. cleaning lady did a decent job with the bed and towels but the floors were dirty so you better use your shoes in the room.nhad to leave after few days - do not recommend at all unless you are only sing 1 bed and coming for a short stay.
