No disputing the value at $6 cash of the meat on rice combo with a simple side soup. Take out only and always busy. Tight confines in the shop which is something to consider if Covid is on your mind. I had an order of roast duck and BBQ pork on rice in February 2022. As it came, I prefer my BBQ pork to have more fat and a deeper marinade to boost up the flavour. The fat was fine in the duck and the flavour decent too. Veggie was not cabbage which is a bonus. Give them a try for the value and you may find them very much to your liking.

Ho Ho BBQ is one of my favorite stops when we venture to Scarborough. It’s one of those OG places for Chinese BBQ meat. There’s always a lineup, but when you move swiftly inside you can see why! The shop is literally standing room only, with a quick serve counter but friendly staff. The meal deal is BBQ pork on rice. But we go for roast pork, BBQ pork and sausage on rice which also comes with veggies & soup. The roast pork skin is crispy & crackly as expected. Chinese sausage is delicious too. Value here is hard to beat and it’s what keeps us lining up again!

I was in the plaza to buy egg tart from the bakery store so I thought to try out the bbq rice box as well. It’s unbelievable cheap at $6 tax included per rice box and it comes with soup. I picked this store because I saw they use good brand rice but I’m quite disappointed with my choice. The rice is cold warm I had it immediately inside the car, the bbq pork is very dry and the presentation is poor as there’s sauce stain all over the box. I shouldn’t expect too much for that price but I think they didn’t meet the basic to provide a hot meal to their customers.

The value is insane and the food was ok. The BBQ pork was better as the roast pig was a big too fat for my taste. However, today a box of rice with 2 meats selling for 6 dollars with tax and drinks are unbeatable valve.

Great place for Chinese bbq deals. Whether you are looking for a lunch box or a la carte Chinese bbq, this place is extra budget friendly. BBQ Pork + Roasted Pork on rice w/ soup - The BBQ meats are decent and portions are outstanding relative to the price $6 tax included Staff are friendly and welcoming here. They mainly speak Chinese Cantonese but no worries they're very accommodating regardless of what language you speak. It's no wonder why there's always a lineup here. Note that they accept Cash only

Looking for an affordable place to grab a quick bite? This place is located in a plaza at the south east corner of Midland Ave and McNicoll Ave. They have $6 lunch special with various meat options. I got the bbq pork and roasted pork rib. The portion was generous and it also came with some steamed veggies and a soup. My wife got bbq pork and roasted duck. The portions for bbq duck was a little bit smaller but understandable since roasted duck is more expensive. I would have liked more soya sauce added on top of the bbq pork as it was lacking flavour. Overall great place to buy cheap lunch or if you are looking to order just bbq meats come check them out. Affordable and fresh bbq meats.

Good BBQ roasted pork and BBQ pork Char siew ... and they handsome looking cook in the back. LOL! Go check the food out you won't regret : Next time I'll try the roasted duck and soya sauce chicken.

Roasted duck went up in price, it's 10$. The quality of it isn't great as it tasted old rather the crispy skin, and they were in small pieces. The bbq pork is pretty good, half of it had fat, so it was fatty. Soy sauce taste great! It is still $6.

I gave 5 stars 2 years ago. Today I give 2 stars. Quality drops too much. Soup is tasteless, rice is mushy, all ducks are bones only, roasted pork too chewy, bbq pork is the only thing eatable.

A full box of Chinese BBQ ribs and roasted pork with steam rice, soup included for only $6. It’s incredibly cheap ! Overall taste is good and satisfying. Very efficient service.
