As a person who ate Shaxian food a lot in China, I think overall the food in this restaurant is OK at least higher than my expectation despite that non of these are authentic enough. This is the first time I came here so I ordered the most popular and common food I would order in a Shaxian restaurant. The noodle was good actually but the wonton soup was just so so very little meat in wonton and the soup base is not bone based, just like water base. They have quite good service! However, the sanitation needs improvement. If you look at the photo there is a short hair in the plate and some other small stains. I didn’t touch that plate at all and it was definitely not my hair I have long hair.
The Marinated Duck lunch box is really tasty.
Average place to grab a quick bite, they have pretty good traditional food if you’re one of their culture ordering it, brings back memories of back home comfort foods service and food are pretty good, depend price.Recommended dishesNoodles w Peanut Butter , Small Meat Wonton
Good bang for bucks if you eat the snacks. They are quite large for their price. Lots of variaties.
Low food quality. Foods are not as what the pictures show now. Tried two times and were really disappointed. Will not go back again sorry. Customers will not give you many opportunities. If you lose them you might lose them forever.
Inexpensive but delicious Fujian street snacks.Food: 5/5
I do not understand why so many bad reviews… The food here is really nice and it is much better that 3 years ago even the price is a bit expensive…not sure the reason, maybe owner changed or chef changed?
Totally not worth the money. Front service ok but foods taste bad, meat is extremely dry. Sure it was from frozen for a long time. The soup is hot but the noodles is cold. Waste of money. :
This place was good in the past like the other reviews avoid at all costs. Food tastes reheated. Even the rice tasted gross like sitting in an old refrigerator.
I went to their Richmond Hill location, which was renovated recently and it is comfortable and clean. The soups are exceptional in quality and taste, and the wontons are very good. Portions were just right. Need to go back to try more on the menu.
