Nothing super fancy but great value at $8 including tax for the chef’s select 4 combo. Side soy drink or soup included. Good choice for a quick lunch inside their food court

Been coming here for over 15years and within the last 5 years their standard has dropped drastically. Every time I order their ducks and pork, I always ask for half lean half fat. I keep getting dry lean meats. Today I drew my final straw, I got lean roast pork with no skin and skinny duck with no meat. Nothing to eat here, move along people.

The shop is still opened during lockdown. The roasted pork and roasted duck were really good. The service was great! The queue moved quickly and the cashier was really friendly. The price and quality of the food did not disappoint me at all. I will definitely go back again.

It’s cheap and cheerful… the sweet and sour pork for a box is $5 and full of meaty morsels instead of the typical fat and dough that you sometimes get fleeced on elsewhere. Is the BBQ the best? Nope but I would say it’s as comparable to FMP but also 20-30% cheaper.

It's my quick, cheap go to place in the area. $5 for a BBQ pork and rice with a cup of soup broth can't go wrong. Excellent value. Maybe not everyones cup of tea for esthetics but it's fine for meFood: 4/5

You will not find anywhere more delicious than this place. The meat is always juicy and tender, and crispy at the same time. Make sure to ask for more gravy for a perfect lunch box veggie is always included. I always order a plater of BBQ pork for any family celebration. You will not be disappointed either you are a advocate of BBQ specialty or you need to feed a hungry stomach. Price is fair.

Got the bbq pork sweet and sour pork and duck. The skin is crispy after half hour drive home. The staff was professional and answered my question. The unopened item in the picture got its share of love as well.

New Sun BBQ is located in a small food court in a plaza with two other BBQ joints. The obvious difference is, this one is located in the small food court and has seating while the other two are takeout only. Seating wins for this visit! I did have a craving for roast pork and BBQ duck with rice, my favourite Chinese BBQ dish. There was a line with people waiting to be served but it seemed to be moving along quickly. It didn't take long to get served. At $7.95, including a drink and tax, it was a great deal! Although the service was fast and efficient, the presentation and flavour could have been better. Don't get me wrong, it was far from being bad, but having eaten at one of the nearby competitors, this one comes in second, so far. The pork was tender and juicy and the duck was meaty. Maybe it just needed a tad more seasoning or longer marination?

The cashier lady is friendly, but that bumbaclatt of a butcher the younger portly one is a scammer. I ordered 2 roast pork ribs "lerng fii siew laam" around Christmas time, and he pulled a bait and switch, and put in lean pieces of meat. I did not realize this until I got to my party, and saw that it was mostly lean meats and little bone, and it was very embarrassing. I do not recommend this place whatsoever regardless of how good the food is. Very dishonest practices, maybe taking advantage of the fact that I am a younger CBC. I hope karma gets them and I caution EVERYONE who can read this to watch that scamming butcher like a hawk, because he'll probably steal breast pieces from your chicken or roast duck as well.

Very bad experience. Taste below average, wrong price list and cost me more when I ordered. I was regretted to choose this as I didn’t want to queue up at the other stores outside.
