Exceptional Customer Service!nnI had an amazing experience with the Hotel! Due to an unexpected issue with the Ukrainian Embassy, I was unable to travel as planned. Even though my booking was non-refundable, the hotel staff showed incredible understanding and made an exception to cancel my reservation. Their kindness and willingness to help truly exceeded my expectations.nnIf this level of customer care is any indication of their hospitality, I can only imagine how great a stay at this hotel would be. I will definitely choose them in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a hotel that values its guests!nnThank you again to the wonderful team!nnLisa
I advise any guest with pets not to book at this hotel because they are scammers. I booked with them and checked out of the room without any problems, but when my son returned to stay with them again and used my credit card to pay, I was shocked to discover that they charged me $1,250 and sent me fake photos of damages we did not commit. They charged this amount without my permission during my son's stay. When I spoke with the manager, he told me he could reduce the charge to $500, but when I refused to pay a single dollar for the damages we did not commit, he told me he would insist on the authenticity of the fake photos and deducted $1,250 without my permission. With this new reservation, I believe he has had these damages for a long time but is using them to extort any guest with pets. Please be careful.
Location and staff were great, no issues at all. Rooms were sparsely furnished and a bit too warm for me. I wish I could have opened a window or turned on cooler air but that was not an option although I did not ask about not. Otherwise rooms were clean, well supplied and quiet.
I am a Hilton Honors member and I stay at various Hilton hotels wherever I go. I flew into Ottawa Thursday morning and I wanted to be close to the airport because I was just there for a hockey game. Parking was fine tight spots and check in was seamless and we were given room 312. The first thing we noticed was the room smelled stale. Not sure how else to describe it but stale is the only way I know how. It was also stifling hot in the room, so we realized the hvac was off, so we turned it on to 21c and figured it would cool off and the air circulation would help the smell. Next, the room decor looked like a 1980’s motel. Old, old and very old room. This is by a long shot the worst Hilton I’ve ever stayed at from a decor perspective. Carpets look like they are about 30 years old. We only spent about 10 minutes in the room and we had to leave to make certain appointments so we had no time to address any issues and we hoped the smell and temperature would fix itself by turning on the AC.nnWe didn’t get back to our room until about midnight after the game. The room was still stifling hot, even though the AC was on at 21c for about 11 hours. The room still smelled stale. However, since it was already midnight, we didn’t not ask for a new room because we felt by the time we packed up and moved to a new room, it would be past 1am and our flight was at 6:30am. So, we chose to lower the temp to 17c and hope for the best. Unfortunately, the temp didn’t budge. We spent 5 very uncomfortable hours “sleeping” before we had to leave for the flight.nnAlso, little things like no working USB charging, very basic TV. Shower was very mediocre. Room was very large which was nice but I would never stay here again. I think we paid over $300 for the night. Wasn’t worth more than maybe $80. Motel quality. Sorry Hilton but this place is way below what I expected.
The room was clean, sure.nnHowever, I could not get the heat to turn down in the room. It was a sweltering hot night.nnI asked for someone to come help me with my bag in the morning as I am disabled. Although they said someone would come when I asked, no one did and I needed to get out of that room because it was so hot. So I brought my luggage down myself which was awful. And when I was struggling across the lobby no one at the desk offered assistance.nnI will not be staying there again.
