It's clean but the decor is dated. The pillows are the worst I've ever encountered in a hotel. Still the room was roomy and the bed and chair were comfortable. Wifi worked fine. Keurig machine, fridge and microwave in the room. I got a coupon at check in for a free breakfast. When I used it I ordered poached eggs on toast and the toast arrived burnt and without butter and no butter on the table. Glad I didn't have to pay the normal $16 charge for that. The sidewalk in front of the building was covered with snow/ice The front desk staff were nice. If I go back to Anchorage I'll probably choose another Hilton property.

The employees here make all the difference in the world. This isn't a luxury hotel but the front desk and wait staff in the restaurant are first class, especially Henry. He gave us lots of great ideas for hikes, restaurants, shops and attractions that made our first visit to Anchorage pretty special. With his encouragement we even were able to view the Aurora Borealis! When we went down in the morning Henry remembered that we liked black tea with our breakfast and he always brought us a pot immediately, along with a kind word and a friendly suggestion. Taking great care of their guests is paramount to this Hilton's staff - we felt valued and we couldn't have been more pleased.

This HGI is in a good location since we have a car. Close to Airport but no noise and not far from town center. Room is typical and clean. Staff is friendly only can get hot tea or water in the lobby and they aren't very attentive to keeping it supplied. Breakfast was good. We would stay again.

Really good clean hotel. The shower heats up very quickly unlike many hotels I've been to. It's conveniently located near a Golden Corral, Starbucks, and TGI Friday's.

Preston the bar tender serves up some proper drinks. Great place to enjoy a change of pace.
