Hilton Anchorage

Hotel service is extraordinary. Last night we were cold, tired after a long business day and wanted some hot drinks. Lola and Dave went out of their way, opened up the coffee bar ( after it had closed hours ago), to steam hot milk and make us fresh hot chocolate. No charge. They are so helpful that all we had to do was ask, and they stepped up was the best service attitude ever. Spectacular.

The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good. My room had a terrific view but it was dated. The heater made a loud thunk every time it shut off. However, overall it's a nice place to stay.

Nice place but the rooms are a little dated. Also, be prepared because all they offer is valet parking at 30 bucks a night. The closest self pay is across the street and you only get 12 hours at a time.

I am in the Marines and our plane broke down in Anchorage, AK for 24 hours. There was 285 of us and there wasn’t any food in the airport. Hilton Anchorage got the call 30 minutes prior to provide us transportation and feed us. When we arrived to the Hilton, I was in shock on how quickly and thorough the staff was providing all the Marines with great food, coffee, and dessert. Truly amazing of what the staff at Hilton pulled off. Thank you so Much Hilton!!! You put a smile on a lot of guys faces when they were down, because they were delayed in seeing their families for the first time in 6 months.

This is a solid 3 star hotel, however our room was dirty so I can't allow myself to rate it as such. Even though I spoke to guest services twice, they never sent anyone up to clean it. When we arrived, the toilet seat was obviously not cleaned, the towels were not refreshed and the safe was locked. We attempted to call guest services and the front desk and no one answered, so we went downstairs to speak to them. The person at the desk, Berk, said he would send someone up, but no one came up. We went out to dinner and we still had not received our towels. It was not until the morning, after speaking to guest services a third time that our towels arrived. Again, no one came to clean the dirty toilet. I've never stayed at a Hilton with such low cleaning standards. I will say the concierge and bell hop staff were courteous and very helpful.
