Hilton Anchorage

We had booked a room with 2 beds, but when we arrived we were told we were getting a room with only a king bed, but they would deliver a cot for the night and could check on availability the next morning.nThe cot didn't fit, so we ended up sharing the king bed with our 11 year-old the first night.nThe next morning we checked on the availability of a room with two beds as we had originally booked, and were told to check back again in the afternoon. We checked back two subsequent times before giving up and just sharing a bed for four nights. The staff was dismissive and non-apologetic every time we checked in.nRoom was OK, there were plumbing fixtures issues, and water would be standing in the tub within 10 seconds of starting the shower.nThe only thing that saved this from being a 2 star or lower, was the location. It was easy to walk to the coastal trail, bars, restaurants and other amenities.nI have had way better lodging experiences for far less money.

I stayed at the Hilton Anchorage with my young son while attending a conference. Mr. Habib at the front desk was incredibly helpful and kind. He gave us a room with a beautiful mountain view, let us check in early. Also, we had a late flight, and the hotel let us check out late for free. They kept our bags safe, and we got to the airport on time.nnThere was a small issue with the heater, but it was fixed quickly. The location was perfect close to everything we needed. The staff also helped me print some documents at no cost.nnThanks to Mr. Habib and the entire team, our stay was enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend this hotel!

I had a great time at my stay in the Hilton. Angela at the front desk had a great personality and made us feel very welcomed upon our arrival. The rest of the staff was very friendly as-well and made it their mission to insure my family and I were comfortable at all times. I will definitely be returning again.

We were greeted with a warm welcome and smiles. Hoko was so friendly. He brought us a map and showed us some good places to go around the city since we have never been here before. Melissa greeted us at check-in and she was so helpful and super friendly. Emerson was also very helpful and provided friendly service. These three made our group feel cared for and welcome. Thank you Hoko, Melissa, and Emerson!

We stayed there for 2 nights, location is great, however our rooms were in west tower, entire tower needs renovation, carpets are smelly both in room and corridors.nThere is no sound proofing, you can hear train honk super early morning and late nights, can also hear neighbors.nBasically we cannot sleep at night!nnAlso house keeping doesnt make your room, no cleanup at all!
