SpringHill Suites by Marriott Anchorage Midtown

The young lady at the desk was quick to get us checked in. She was happy and thoughtful. When my daughter took a photo of a piece of art in the entry she told her it was an Eskimo hunter and that she was from one of the two Eskimo tribes. My daughter loved that. We used the pull out couch bed and someone brought up sheets because they weren't in the bag. Then someone brought up sheets quickly to replace those on our bed because there was a nasty 12" stain that was recent- let's just say it was obvious the bed had been remade with dirty sheets. The next morning they had breakfast packed and ready for us to return to the airport at 6:30 a.m.

Staff are friendly, rooms are clean and well laid out. I stayed in a room with a two queen beds and couldn't have been happier. Visited the pool early in the morning. If you have an aversion to children and/or loud noises, this is the only time to use it. It is a nice space none the less. Breakfast was standard fare and certainly not lacking. Bagels, waffles, eggs, fruit, yogurt, protein selection and a surprisingly good hash. At least, that's what it seemed to be. Very pleased with the stay and will be back should the occasion arise.

I was very happy with my stay here. It was quiet & the staff was polite & helpful. The breakfast was not as well as the rest of the experience.

I always enjoy a Marriott and the service here is up to their usual above average par. My rewards number was not on the reservation for some reason, but the nice lady at the front desk just look me up by name and added it automatically. She upgraded my room and gave me a free item from the marketplace. The beds are about average but the air conditioning/heater is in need of a tune up. It was very loud and didn't have a temperature gauge, just a dial with red turning to blue so I had to adjust it up and down several times to get a comfortable temperature. They're friendly and the breakfast is hot with lots of choices like fresh fruit, cereals, breads, yogurts, or eggs with cheese and sausage. The rooms are spacious with microwaves and fridges. The location is very central with a cinema next door, a grocery in walking distance, and lots of casual dining in short radius.

One of the nicest SpringHill Suites in North America. Friendly staff. Breakfast was consistently delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my two weeks stay. I am looking forward to returning to this location.
