Story

www.harvesterbikes.ca Ontario BMX Mailorder: Started back in 2002 to feed the need of the burgeoning BMX community in Canada, Harvester Bikes strove to provide a fairly priced mailorder eliminating the overpricing we are all too familiar to north of the border. Fueled by a lifelong commitment to BMX, there was an obvious need for fair pricing and solid products which Harvester bikes provided. This is a company that is rider owned and operated with the focus on a happy customer and upfront no B.S pricing. Harvester Bikes also wanted to bring its support to the areas that needed it the most, with many up and coming riders in rural areas and no real bike shops within riding distance Harvester brought what they needed to them by bringing much needed solid brands to Canada like Tree Bicycle Co. back in 2003 (mentioned in publications such as Dig Magazine). Always trying to give back and stay cutting edge, Harvester Bikes has also had a lot of its own product development. With its product line including much needed technology like titanium pegs and titanium primo spindles for a fraction of the competitor’s pricing (and that’s not even including shipping to Canada and duties). Harvester has also sponsored many Canadian events such as the Ugly Ass Bikes Jams in Montreal. Harvester Bikes has an ongoing commitment to the BMXer and the BMX community. Harvester bikes was there when BMX was holding on by a thread in the mid 2000’s and will continue this commitment because as the true rider knows, BMX is not a bike, it’s a lifestyle.

Anthony is The Man. He's the real deal. Professional, knowledgeable, polite, perfect salesman. Our experience was golden. He's been in the bike business since 13 years of age. Top Quality BMX. We saw several bikes in store and on his laptop. We made our decision next day and he had bike out of box, built and ready to ride. He made our daughter totally ecstatic! Plus she gets a free tune up thrown in. ThxU Anthony!

Anthony was great! I literally called 4 Canadian Tire stores and all of them explained that I would have to leave bike and wait at least 2 weeks before I hear back from their bike technician because he only shows up twice a month at this time of year even though the bike is a Canadian Tire - Supercycle Solaris. Anthony looked at the bike immediately, he was very honest and repaired bike on the spot and the best was that I thought I had a $50 to $100 repair. It was a fraction of that cost. I will bring all my bike repairs now to Harvester Bikes for honest fast service! 5 STARS all the way!

Anthony is amazing. He hooked my daughter up with her first BMX. It was well worth the 1.5 hr drive just for his customer service and product knowledge. I highly recommend his shop to everyone I hear looking for a BMX bike or Old School BMX parts.

If you live in Thornhill, or even north of the 401, you will notice a dearth of bike shops, especially west of Bathurst. Lucky for us, I discovered Harvester Bikes. I won't pretend it's a huge store or easy to find, but if you are the Dufferin/Centre/7 area, it is worth the trip. They are simple, down to earth, and provide excellent friendly service at a very affordable price. I have been there on occasion for small evaluations and Anthony and his staff ave been most courteous and welcoming. It is very likely that when I finally decide to buy a new bicycle, it will be from Harvester. So if you live or bike anywhere between Sheppard to Major Mac, between the 400 and Yonge, this is the place to go.

I had such a great experience at Harvester Bikes. I know nothing of wheel repairs on bikes so I went in on Saturday to have my two small boys bikes fixed as they had flat tires. The gentleman that serviced the bikes took the time to fix the wheels and fix the chain on one of the bikes. The service was friendly, courteous and most of all quick. I will definitely be coming back as I was very impressed with their customer service, wide selection of bikes and overall positive experience!.
