My stay at the Hampton Inn exceeded my expectations! I was given the King bed corner room 12th floor which gave a view of the Harbour and my bathroom had a window view as well!nI love a cold room with a fan and a warm bed, and the thermostat was very simple to use, so every night I had the best sleep only to be awoken by a beautiful sunrise!nI also love that it’s a step outside and you can walk everywhere, I didn’t even move my car out of the parking garage the entire stay!nI was on a 3 day educational there, and we were well attended to, and well fed! Every time I went back to my room after class my room was clean and freshened thanks to house keeping. After a long day, it was so refreshing to go back to my room!nI unfortunately was not able to take advantage of the gym or pool, but I guarantee this will not be the last time I stay here.nI’ll be planning to stay here again in the future, thanks to the wonderful staff and accommodations!
Very impressive service throughout this hotel, from the desk staff, cleaning and catering staff. We exceptionally liked the breakfast provided and the hospitality from these members went above and beyond to make our start to the day fantastic. Eleanor was great and a very good ambassador for the hotel. I would recommend this a a great place to stay.
The fan was super loud whenever it turned on to heat up the room. We ended up turning it off. We didn’t sleep the best because of an alarm going off on a Saturday night, once around midnight and again at 4am which lasted for 10 minutes. Lastly the conditioner bottle was empty.nnOverall, I enjoyed a two-night stay here with my mom for a weekend getaway. The staff were very friendly. Parking was easy, with a parkade right next to the hotel. It was a nice walking distance to restaurants and cafes in downtown.
We stayed here one night, and never again. When booking the room it was booked as a king suite over the phone. Upon arriving to check in an additional $250 had to be put down as the room was booked on a debit/visa, we were not told this when the booking was done, nor was there any mention of additional $25.00 for parking.nElevator wait times are unreal, and when we arrived at our room we walked into a small room with two double beds. Back down to the front desk to fix this problem and the two younger receptionist were not over apologetic about the situation, kinda seems flustered, and unsure about what to. When our room issue was resolved and we arrived in our king suite it was old and not what we expected, headboards peeling, chairs that seemed to have not been cleaned, the mini fridge’s fan made a horrible noise nonstop, the bed and pillows were hard as a rock and the blankets on the bed, if that’s what you want to call them were thin and not great material . Guests screaming at all hours and stomping on the floor at 1 am, which I’m aware is not the hotels fault, just adds to the experience.nThe morning breakfast was great, and the older lady that was there handing out pictures to the kids was friendly. Check out was easy and the new desk person was the nicest one we encountered the entire stay. We stayed for the convenience of being so close to everything, but will never be returning, which I find unfortunate as it’s not the first time we have stayed in Hiltons but certainly the last in this one.
We enjoyed our stay here. This is new and clean. Hampton Inn is situated a block away from the Halifax Citadel and the Harbour.nThe conditions of the rooms and facilities are clean and modern.nThe place was busy, but the staff were very polite and helpful.nThis is a dog friendly hotel and Nikola my dog also enjoyed his stay at Hampton Inn.nHas covered Parking and the experience was excellent and we would certainly stay here again next time I'm in Halifax!
