Very comfortable beds, curtains keep out most of the light, rooms are soundproofed so minimal noise. Short walk into town. Really friendly, knowledgeable staff. They all made us feel very welcome. Good bar, had some great local recommendations from Andy. Would definitely recommend.
The bedrooms were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I do want to stress how amazing the staff is here. They are very kind, knowledgeable, and very willing to help. The pool was lovely and the gym was excellent. Would 100% stay there again.

There staff at Hotel Halifax has been nothing but amazing to me since the day I got here.nnI have been having credit card issues the entire stay here and it was so frustrating as most of you can imagine. That frustration was quickly extinguished by the front desk staff.nnTim, I appreciate you doing what you did for me. I cannot thank you enough! I've said this in person but you got me out of a predicament that probably could have left me without a hotel for the night.nnThe other two ladies!nnThe one who checked me in I'm sorry I forgot your namesnYou were simply amazing at service. Thank you making my check in pleasant. You tried everything to make my card work and let me sort my issues out in peace without any pressure. Always a good thing to see that!nThe one with the glasses! Always loved our chats at front desk and thank you for greeting me with a smile every Morning! I honestly cannot praise the staff highly enough. They are absolutely on their game and extremely pleasant even at the most hectic times. On my most recent visit, I ended up slammed with work and the lady at the front desk was so sweet when I called in asking what my options might be for an earlier check in so I could hunker down. She happily found me a room without any hesitation allowing me to check in almost 5 hours early and didn't even seem phased by my outrageous request. Not to mention a later check out the following day.nnThe room was tidy and extremely quiet. Everything you could ask for. I will absolutely be a repeat visitor at Hotel Halifax.
Very OLD inside other than the lobby. Card reader stopped working and we waited in the hall 20 minutes while they tried to fix it. Finally gave us another room. Nice TV in the room is the only good thing I can say about the place.
