Staff are great, went above and beyond to make stay enjoyable. One staff even contacted UPS to locate missing equipment I shipped to Hotel for meetings. My review of UPS would be not so nice.

We have always love the Marriott Brand! Great service, amazing room, great location!! We were ocated on the 7th floor and we loved our view.

When I need to stay in downtown Halifax, or have to recommend a hotel to someone else, it is always the Courtyard Marriott. It's a wonderful location, close to the waterfront, the life of the city, and several excellent restaurants. Many rooms look onto the harbour, and the staff are propitiatory of any need.

Great staff. Very helpful. Fairly modern rooms with comfy beds. Bathroom was spacious enough with a good showerhead. If you can think about it, get a room on the third floor with access to the terrasse. Then you can step out for fresh air. There's also a better view of the harbour on the 8th floor terrasse. Excellent central location. You are close to everything. You don't even have to leave the premises for great food. It's next to the Keith's Brewery. DaMaurizio is right there and so is Cut steakhouse. Around the corner, A Mano and Bicycle Thief. The Indian food nearby smelled amazing. There's also fresh coffee and tasty food in the lobby's restaurant. Snacks available near the front desk for those who want some late night snacks. It's a five dollar cab ride to the casino, or a ten minute walk along the harbour. I enjoyed the artifacts that were dug up during construction of the hotel. They are nicely displayed. Best value in Halifax. Will stay again.
