As a Marriott loyal traveller I do stay at Marriott hotels around the world., At this location I was blown away by cleanliness , level of service and attention to details.nnRooms:nI stayed in one of the harbour view room that was recently renovated with new carpet, furniture and new bathroom. View from the room was breathtaking and very comfortable bed. Housekeeping staff did amazing job!nnFood & Beverage:nI used both the lobby bar and restaurant as well as concierge lounge. Food quality and presentation was excellent and cocktails were great too. Shawn and Kate in the lobby bar were very attentive and friendlynnEvent/ Banquet:nWe hosted a meeting in Acadia room. Room was set up as per our requirements, catering team great job in setting up food and coffee. A/V was set to our request as well. Kudos to Gavin and his team!nnOverall:nMarriott Harbour Front Halifax is well managed hotel. Senior management is doing a phenomenal job in providing leadership and support to staff so they can do their job to high standards. I will stay here again when I am back in Halifax!!nnThank you!
Can't say enough about this hotel. Location is perfect - right on the waterfront, and you can walk along the entire harbour from here. Also walking distance to most of downtown Halifax, the Public Gardens, Citadel Hill, etc.nnThe hotel helped me check in early, and held my bags as I attended the last day of a conference. The room was great, very clean. The showers give you the option of a normal showerhead or a rainfall style showerhead.nnThe gym is also fantastic. Huge and has a lot of decent equipment. Also has soundproof meeting pods. Would highly recommend staying here!
We have held a couple of corporate events at The Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel. The planning stages started with Ashley and then Sarah. From the start of our contract process we experienced knowledgeable helpful and kind staff. Quick responses to every request for modification, to assistance when on site with banquet and management was fantastic. Sarah, you and the staff went over and above to ensure I felt supported throughout the process. I am grateful for the wonderful service, the location is beautiful, the hotel is lovely with amazing views, the rooms are comfortable, banquet service and food was enjoyed by all. 5 stars to all staff that helped to make our event a huge success. This was our first time in Halifax and this hotel was better than most hotels we’ve stayed at. Thenpeople working there are incredibly friendly and very helpful. The restaurant is beautiful with delicious food and fun cocktails. I would highly recommend the smoky old fashion. The pool and hot tub is easy to find and very relaxing after a long day of walking on the harbour. Lastly the location is perfect. It’s very close to the harbour and all the attractions happening in the city.nLots of shops and restaurants to explore. It’s a perfect spot to get a little bit of everything, and a perfect spot to come back and rest after a long day of exploration.
My partner fly me from Toronto to Halifax and we I had an amazing time staying on this hotel for 3 nighrs and 4 days when I got a birthday treat from my man and the room he got for us was by the waterfront view. The staff were so helpful and friendly and room was well cleaned. I highly recommend this place.
