Great location, the rooms are spacious and comfortable… walking distance to anything you want… front staff was very nice, we were super fortunate to be able to check in early, after a red eye flight that was an amazing feeling… great breakfast, good selection of food, the only thing i found odd was you had to pay for sausage or bacon? I had never experienced that before…
The hotel is in central/downtown Halifax so walking distance from some really cool restaurants. The rooms were okay, they were outdated and the bathroom could use some renovation. Our toilet didn’t flush properly. Breakfast was very basic and not filling. Bed was very comfortable.nnStaff are friendly but not overly nice.nnLastly, DO NOT PAY FOR PARKING! The hotel will tell you to pay for parking with them but street parking is free overnight and all of the other spots in the parking lot that doesn’t have a “hotel” sign is also free parking. Save your money and don’t pay for parking.nnOverall, a good hotel to stay in if you just need a quick place to sleep in Halifax. Definitely requires some renovations but overall it’s decent to sleep in. I wouldn’t be returning.
We enjoyed a lovely one night stay here. The reception staff were very friendly. Our rooms were a little dated, but clean and comfortable. Paid for a harbour view room and could not complain. Breakfast was decent. My father in law was delighted with an in room gift.nWill definitely be back!
Great hotel in downtown at a decent price. Walking distance to the Waterfront as well as to shopping and food. Rooms were larger than I expected, and breakfast was great.
Perfect place for a stay Downtown Halifax.nHotel is a walking distance to Scotiabank Centre, waterfront, Spring Garden road, and all other downtown attractions and restaurants. Rooms are spacious, we had junior sweet and were happy with it, not a modern option but good enough. Breakfast was included with many great free choices, something new was an extra charge for sausage or bacon if you wish to eat those , I guess that summarizes the times we live in. Parking is also available for extra charge and the garage is spacious. Would recommend this place!
