Prince George Hotel, Halifax

We had a great stay, enjoyed the wonderful food at Gio and the room service was good, with a much appreciated pool, sauna, and whirlpool. My husband was in for surgery, great spot to recover. Note to ask for pillows if you don't want really fat ones, and robes to go to the pool. Best concierge ever helped us get into the VERY low access parking garage he took off our Thule lugage carrier from the top of the car, and was very helpful beyond measure.

What truly sets it apart is the exceptional service and professionalism of the staff. Every team member is remarkably courteous, attentive, and communicates with genuine warmth and clarity. It’s evident that they go above and beyond to ensure every guest has a memorable and seamless stay.nThe rooms are immaculate, generously spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with all the modern amenities one could need. From start to finish, my stay was nothing short of outstanding.

My husband, dog and I stayed here for our first time in Halifax. This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The staff are insanely professional and polite and the atmosphere is lovely. Patrick, who was phenomenal, checked us in and gave us a complimentary upgrade and a present for our dog she was thrilled. Our room was clean and the view was great. We were also given two complimentary breakfast buffet cards—and that was delicious. We LOVED our stay and cannot wait to come back!

We had a great stay 11/15 for the HFx Holiday Parade; this is a nice location for families and staff treated us well with a toy at check in for our toddler and an upgrade. We used the pool, Crown lounge and breakfast buffet. Everything was enjoyed!nnAs mentioned in other reviews some updates would help enhance this classic Halifax location, the pool is in need of a refresh or at least a paint and attention to keeping water cleared off the pool deck/a little more cleanliness, pool was also quite cold!nnOverall we’ll be back and enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I stayed at Prince George Hotel for 4 nights during our trip to Halifax and absolutely loved the hotel! The room we reserved looked exactly like the photos online. The hotel was extremely clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful.nnI requested for a microwave because I needed to use hot compress on my eyelids daily to treat dry eyes, and they provided one without extra cost, which I really appreciated!nnWe were especially impressed by the made-to-order cookies in their in-room food menu. We ordered some cookies, which were made from scratch and delivered to us still warm.nnThe location of the hotel was extremely convenient as well, just steps away from the citadel and all the great restaurants.nnWe will definitely be choosing Prince George Hotel when we visit Halifax again.
