Prince George Hotel, Halifax

Great hotel - we stay here every time we are in Hali. Most notable - great pool/hot tub/sauna with great hours. Great staff! If you get a chance to do Happy Hour you won’t be disappointed. Every time we come to the hotel we see Dan The Man the bartender for some amazing food + drinks. The food is SO GOOD!

The staff including bar staff, specifically Arun, he's the best we're absolutely amazing. So accommodating! The room however was quite dated for the cost, and the bathtub was slimy when I got into it. There was little drainage during my shower. nnMy partner has some physically disabilities, and the stairs to the pool made it very inaccessible. The front desk staff were very willing to open up certain doors and routes for us to get there though!nnOtherwise, incredible time. Great atmosphere, great views.

Very clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, attractive lobby/common areas, well maintained gym/pool/sauna/garden deck areas. Rooms were pretty average but clean. Beds were very clean with good sheets and pillows. Room service was excellent. The charcuterie board was really nice. I would ask for more sourdough with the charcuterie though. There wasn't enough. Great hotel overrall. Highly recommend.

Rained out on our vacation. A lovely hotel worker came running out to offer two umbrellas while we went explored. It was fun! Came back and warmed up in the hotel hot tub. Which is open late & early!nThe pool needs a bit of a good drain and scrub, but other than that, the hotel room was very clean.nI will be back!!

What a fantastic experience. The hotel is perfectly situated in downtown Halifax: just steps away from the best dining and entertainment; across the street from the convention center; and one block from the path to the historic Citadel. The hotel bar lounge is wonderful and very reasonably priced with a great happy hour including delicious bites including local seafood.nnFrom the amazing front desk staff, to the friendly bartenders, the hotel staff is second to none. Great tips on where to go and what to do and very accommodating. I am especially grateful to the front desk manager Pranjal Sharma who truly went above and beyond to help us when our tradeshow materials did not arrive in time for the show. He was amazing.nnThe rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable with new and well maintained amenities.nnTruly a fantastic experience, and I will stay here any time i return to Halifax in the future.
