Commons Inn

Stayed in 407. Very dirty and rough shape. We saw a rodent deterrent plug in the wall so we started looking around. Rodent feces under the cushions and chew holes in the fabric and bed. Bathroom was moldy and cobwebs on the ceiling in the bedroom. Seems like they don't clean this place properly. Breakfast was quite poor. The walls are paper thin so its pretty loud in the morning with traffic outside and other rooms. Good location but not great value for the price.

The staff at the Commons Inn were very welcoming and helpful. The room itself was clean and all the linnen was fresh. There was a common balcony right outside my room where you are able to smoke. I had a great stay and the price was excellent coming in at under $100 per night. Thank you for your service, we'll be back soon!

Very kind and helpful staff. Decent rooms, a bit old look. Good for short stays. Good location. Nice breakfast. Would recommend.

This is the hidden gem of Halifax. Great location, fantastic rooms, complimentary breakfast, and two roof top patios to watch the sun set! Would highly recommend.

Creepy Place Stayed there last week. Yes staff is friendly but my room was in the basement, was dirty, worn out and there were no sheets on the bed. The shower door was broken. Just checked my credit card receipt and they charged me $234. instead of the agreed upon price of $90.
