We stopped in for Sunday brunch after a morning walk along the waterfront, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our whole trip to Halifax. The eggs benedict were perfectly done, with a rich hollandaise that my husband kept talking about for the rest of the day. Our server was warm and attentive without hovering, which we really appreciated at that relaxed pace. If you're passing through the city, do yourself a favour and make time for breakfast here.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The property is beautiful and well maintained, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and inviting. This is my second time staying in this hotel. First stay was really good. This time, we noticed that the chair has still food crumbs and the bathroom still had hair on the floor. Air conditioner couldn’t be adjusted to a cooler temperature. I called for someone to fix it since it was hot from the moment we checked in until late night. Maintenance guy came, didn’t even bother to listen to what I was saying. Checked the air conditioner and told me it was working and since it’s hot outside, there’s nothing that he can do for the room temperature. I was just too stunned to react since the purpose of the air conditioner is to make the indoors cooler. Anyway, we slept drenched in sweat. We had to use a handheld fan all through the night. It wasn’t a good sleep at all.

I had a plesant stay at the hotel. Rooms are nice. The service is good. Everything went great! Special thanks to Iryna at the front desk!
