Lots of items but probably because of their prices. I am planning some renovations and was there looking for a few things. They had a nice roll of flooring underlay I need but it was $50 for 100sq ft. Home Depot sells the same but it is only $30 for 200sq ft. Wax toilet rings are more than any store. Plumbing connections I needed were there but used cost more than buying from even Canadian Tire. Prices need to be cut 50-80% to even compare to brand new at other stores let alone be a deal. The second star is because staff were nice but probably not in charge of pricing.
Probably one of the better organized Restores. Dropped off some items and the staff member was so incredibly helpful and kind. Those in store are as well. Items are used way to state the obvious! but they are in good shape from the pieces I've viewed and/or purchased. In other words, not unusable junk! One of my go to places when I have a project in mind. Doesn't have everything I need of course, but a great starting point.
This place is just as bad as the first store here is Edmonton I went to and I saw a day bed for a 175$ when you can buy it at JSKY or online for even less and they got it for free and one staff member said that the store prices the item off of the internet and if that's so people should stop giving their stuff to these stores because you can sell it yourself on market place on Facebook and get the money yourself lol and I even seen a really old table for 600$ no chairs and that's even a joke I know these places have an overhead to pay out but it's pure GREED it's clean here but still a rip off place too..... on to the next homes for humanity or homes for ripping off the working class that truly can't pay store prices and make another review of that store too....
The concept is amazing, but the prices are definitely out of touch.nA telescope that I wouldn't pay $20 for at a garage sale, with missing barrow lenses, they want $175 for?? That's insane.nAnd there's no way anyone will pay $100 for an extremely dirty carpet cleaner. If you put a price tag on it of around $40, I might grab it, and not complain about cleaning it prior to using it.nSorry, but for items that were donated, the pricing schedule is out of touch with reality. I understand that you need to pay for the building, utilities, etc, but if no one is buying items for the sticker prices, you're going backwards.
This store is amazing. Prices can't be beat and the staff are friendly and so helpful. Will definitely be shopping here again.
