Most visit place in Christmas. Wow what a beautiful decoration and stuffs . There is light show there with 10 per family or 2 per person which is worth . Fire pit , mini donuts, clean washroom and lots of spot to click photos . Enough parking space .
Today I want to share my experience with this greenhouse: we bought $1,000 worth of plants — 9 shrubs and one tree.nTwo days later, only 5 shrubs and one wilted, sick tree remained. Of the 5 shrubs, 2 were clearly diseased.nnWe drove 45 minutes back to the greenhouse to return the dead shrubs and ask what to do about the tree and the remaining ones. They told us everything had died because we didn’t water them — but we had watered everything thoroughly.nnThey gave us a $200 store credit to buy more plants, but those couldn’t be returned if they died… and they died the next day after planting.nnWe were on a deadline to finish the yard, so we went to a different greenhouse and bought the missing plants there — and miraculously, everything took root in the exact same spots and soil.nnWe were also told that the original plants had a fungus, so we sprayed and treated everything ourselves. I just hope at least the tree and the 5 shrubs survive.nnDo I want help from these people? Yes, I’d like to get my money back — I’ve been planting for years, and this is the first time I’ve experienced something like this.
Greenland Garden Centre is such a stunning and enjoyable place to visit — From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by beauty. The layout is spacious and welcoming, with winding paths that make it feel like a peaceful garden walk, not just a shopping trip.nnThe selection of plants is incredible. Everything from lush greenery to vibrant seasonal flowers, including a breathtaking variety of roses — and right now, roses are 50% off, which is a fantastic deal for the quality you’re getting! Every plant looks healthy and well-tended, and the displays are so beautifully arranged it’s hard not to leave without something.nnThey also carry an amazing variety of home décor, gardening accessories, and giftware. It’s the kind of place where you can easily spend a whole afternoon just browsing.nnThe on-site restaurant adds so much to the experience. It was busy when we visited, which is always a good sign, and it looked like a cozy and inviting spot to relax with a coffee or a bite to eat after shopping. I love that you can make a day out of it here.nnWhether you’re a gardener or just looking for a beautiful place to spend some time, Greenland is well worth the visit. It’s relaxing, inspiring, and full of treasures.
Was there today to purchase some Christmas decor. Staff was very helpful and the displays were incredible. My puppy enjoyed being the star of the show in the cart hen he was to tired to walk.
1 StarnI’ve been a loyal customer at Greenland for five years, spending hundreds of dollars on perennials, garden décor, and café visits. My dogs and I have always looked forward to visits — it’s been part of our seasonal rhythm. But today was the last time I will ever step foot in your nursery.nnFirst, let’s talk pricing. $26 for a full-size bee balm in August — the end of planting season — is unrealistic and, frankly, gouging. For a local business that claims to support community gardeners, this feels more opportunistic than supportive.nnBut what truly ended it for me was the moment I asked a staff member — who I’ve interacted with before and who was wearing admittedly adorable cottagecore mushroom earrings — to help take a photo of me in your greenhouse. Her response?n“Make sure you suck your stomach in.”nExcuse me? What kind of business allows staff to body shame customers in 2025?nnLet me be crystal clear: I was dressed up and feeling beautiful on my day off. I’m a proud, confident woman and your employee tried to undercut that with one thoughtless, toxic comment. You don’t do that to anyone — and especially not a returning, paying customer who has supported you for years.nnI will not be back. Not for plants. Not for bulbs. Not for overpriced café lunches served with a side of rudeness. There are better, kinder places to spend my time and money — and to feel welcome in my own skin.
