No better place in the world. It's in our backyard, yet so many have never been. Just do your drives early in the morn to avoid most crowds. Avalanche is the best hike for short, Iceberg lake for a little more, and there are many trails that take you into the wild. Study up before you go. Pepper spray!

Must visit before all the glaciers melt. Visited during August which is the busiest time of the year, but we had a great time hiking and eating berries. Saw a few brown bears and other wild life.

Visited in July and there were so many flowers! It has gotten more crowded than a decade ago. Grinnell lake is an easy hike, flat for the most part and the end is amazing. Glaciers are melting though. Please if you visit protect the park, the wildlife and be courteous to other people.

Prettiest of the natural parks. Truly a place to get away from crowds. Take day hikes and immerse yourself in the beauty.

Glacier is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been!! Bozeman lake is a bit out of the way of most of the other attractions, but is worth the trip- it's incredible. A word on the campsites, we got to the park early to get a site before they filled up, but they were all already full! Even if all the sites are listed as full, it's worth talking to the site manager because they can usually find you a spot for the night, you'll just have to move/leave come morning. This is because they have to hold certain handicapped accessible spots until a certain time each day. There are also group sites they can send you to. So we realized what people were doing was going around early in the AM to find sites who's tags indicated they were leaving that day. Then they would confirm with the people they were in fact leaving (sometimes just waiting by the site since the campers were still asleep!) and then put their tag behind the current users tag to "claim it" even though check out time wasn't until noon or so. That's why a site will fill long before check out time. We had no idea that's how it worked to get a camp site, it is extremely competitive! So if you want a spot, you need to get there EARLY as then stalk out another site that's on there check out day. You could also maybe do it the night before. Also if you're willing to share your spot, it's pretty easy to do so and then you can split the cost. Most sites would accommodate two medium sized tents.
