Awesome place to spend the night. Uses a bear hang system and has 4 campsites. The lake has cutthroat in it we know because somebody else caught some. Easy access to Pitamakan pass from here and it has a little beach access to the lake. It’s cold though!
Worth the hike! Very hard, but gorgeous. Pitamakan Loop
We started the trail from the North Shore trailhead Two Medicine, and it was about 7 miles to get to the Old Man Lake. It was WELL worth it. Just beware of huge Grizzly Bears. We were able to spot a few very large tracks north and south of the campground.
Awesome quite place!
