We love camping!

Story

Stay here, and you're just a mile from Glacier Park and the entrance to Going-to-the-Sun Road, the 52-mile highway that climbs across Glacier National Park's spectacular alpine spine. But the view is almost as good from your campsite here at Glacier's eastern edge, where towering peaks frame the St. Mary River and Lake. Pick up lunch fixings at the KOA grocery store and gift shop, then board a Glacier tour bus at the campground entrance. If you want to give your dog a day off while you explore, your hosts offer pet sitting. Or stick close to camp and relax in KOA's resort atmosphere while you hone your putting skills, play bocce or enjoy the new swimming pool and hot tub complex. Rent a kayak and explore the wilds of Lower St. Mary Lake and River. The AOK Grill serves up breakfasts, pizzas and dinners daily from mid-June to September.

This is a really nice KOA. Great sites, excellent dog park(!)..one of the best in terms of size, and beautiful views of Glacier. Friendly staff and I was immediately refunded my money for a washing machine that didn't work. Why not 5 stars? I was extremely frustrated by the bear proof garbage cans. The latches don't work, opening is high, cumbersome to get the darn heavy lid open. The sprinkler was turned on the grass in dog park which rendered it unusable one afternoon and evening but it was still going the next morning. Sprinkler attached to a hose so clearly someone forgot to turn it off=no dog park play the next morning-:(.

Fabulous camp store... Best I've ever seen! Complete with a nice coffee bar, even, plus a better than usual selection of groceries, camp gear, tourista stuff. Office staff very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. Grounds are nicely maintained. More expensive than other area campgrounds, but also nicer.

Had a tent site for a small pop out up. Much more separated and private than the typical RV spots. Bathroom/shower room was very nice and very clean. Store was unusually well stocked with camping and backpacking supplies. Very helpful desk staff.

Very convenient to East Glacier. Wide open spaces, with close neighbors. Views were beautiful. Facilities were great, including pool and hot tub. Great general store on site. Yummy pizza delivery available from their kitchen to your site! Would definitely stay here again.

Great views. Nice pool and hot tub. Good showers and bathroom. Right next to Glacier National Park. Great for tent camping. Great huckleberry pie right down the road.
