I started going to the Bring Your Own Baby class at Four Your Health 5 weeks after giving birth to my daughter and will continue going throughout my maternity leave. Being very active before getting pregnant I thought I could just jump back into my regular routine, however Catherine assessed my body’s current state and started me with exercises that would build my strength back while avoiding injuries. After 5 months I can now do more challenging and advanced exercises that target all of the areas I am working on. Since joining I am well on my way to reaching my post baby goals and am even feeling stronger then before. Not only does BYOB help get Mommy’s where they want to be physically, it is also a social environment to meet other new Moms who can provide support and tips for you and your little one!

I have been attending the BYOB Class since February 2017. And although it was my intention to go for only a few months, I don't want to stop! Its such a unique multifunctional group class, with a one on one personal training feel! Catherine pays great attention to detail while you work out. She not only corrects your posture but educates you on why your compensating in certain areas and why particular muscles aren't firing. This class is especially good if you've had a c-section because she teaches some excellent low resistance core excercises that are exactly what you need after just having major surgery! My favourite part is being able to do fun exercises with my son, which allow him to socialize and I'm ACTUALLY getting a great workout in while I get to see him play and interact! I can't say enough about how amazing Catherine is and she truly is a pleasure to train with!!! Her energy is infectious and I would recommend this class in a heartbeat :)

I have been suffering from bilateral thoracic outlet syndrome, spinal misalignment, multiple muscle compensations and chronic pain/tension throughout my body for over 6 years now. I have tried everything; multiple chiropractors, physio, decompression, acupuncture, you name it. I currently see a mix of people that I found help, but I need to see them constantly. Catherine was recommended to me to strengthen my weak muscles and help hold my chiropractic adjustments. Catherine's assessment was extremely thorough and she is incredibly knowledgeable about how the muscles should move and how compensations can affect multiple areas throughout the body, causing pain, tension and weakness. She has a keen eye as to what my body is doing during our exercises and if a muscle group isn't firing, she modifies or tries a different exercise until we get the proper result. Her exercises are tailored specifically for your individual needs and they are very effective. By the 6th session, I had areas in my body that finally began to relax. With every session, I can feel my muscles getting stronger. I still have a long road ahead of me, but I have renewed hope. If you want to improve your muscle tone, or you have chronic muscle issues, would highly recommend Catherine for an assessment.

Catherine is as dynamic as she is skilled. I've taken group classes and private coaching for the past 2 years and have learned so much. I was supposed to have knee surgery and because of the work I have done with Catherine I was able to rehab and no longer need to have surgery. Her commitment to bettering herself and pursuing a greater knowledge of her craft benefits each and every one of her clients. Not to mention she is a lot of fun to spend an hour with while working out!

Catherine, the owner, is an exceptional personal trainer. Her knowledge of the human body is astounding and she will give you the perfect moves to get you in shape!
