Four Points by Sheraton Barrie

Really liked this hotel. My room was on the ground floor, right next to the restaurant and the front desk, and I did not have any issues with noise; it was very quiet. The bed is amazing - very comfortable. Breakfasts at the hotel are very reasonably priced. Finally, the gym is well appointed and clean.

My Saturday morning meeting was at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Barrie. However, their website wouldn't take a Friday night reservation. Neither could I get through to the hotel by phone to talk to someone. From previous visits to Barrie, I knew there was a Four Points by Sheraton right next door to the Hampton. So I called the Sheraton and made a reservation with no problem. Arrival late Friday afternoon and check-in was straight forward at the front desk. The lobby was very nicely decorated with a unique bicycle wheel display and interesting signage. We got a very nice room with a king size bed at the end of hall on the main floor. Once we were settled in our room, we went back to the foyer and sat down at the counter of an interesting pub. I'm a craft beer enthusiast and was delighted to find four taps serving Barrie's Flying Monkeys beers. Matthew behind the bar was very pleasant and helpful as we sipped our beers. While we could have had supper at the Sheraton, we wanted to go downtown and got good suggestions from Matthew on where to go and how to get a Uber taxi. Dinner was very good and we slept well when we returned. The shower next morning was beautifully built and quite special. After a very nice breakfast at the Sheraton, I went next door to the Hampton for my meeting. My wife stayed to enjoy our room, the lobby and the swimming pool. For any future Barrie meetings, I'll go straight to the Sheraton.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond. A special shout out to Ashley, who did an absolutely incredible job, exceeded my expectations, and is such a hard worker!! I would stay here again because of the kindness, work ethic, and customer service skills she has shown over the past few days of my stay here.

Lovely hotel! Very nicely decorated, modern, nice rooms, comfortable beds. The food at breakfast was very good and was included with our room price - and it was freshly cooked to order, not one of those awful buffets. I recommend!

I stay here once a week just because the rooms are always clean, good location and the hotel has everything you need. The staff are super friendly and always welcoming. Great place to stay
