Horseshoe Resort

I went there to snowboard (day trip). Location is pretty close to highway 400; very convenient. There are plenty of ski racks; easy to find a slot. Lifts are challenging to get on and off as they are pretty close to the ground and fast. Staff are friendly and helpful, they slow down the lifts by hand for everyone. The trails are so much fun to ride on, they are sometimes narrower, has more turns and each trail is unique.

We came here for a school field trip and I was impressed with the organization they had. I wasn't confused about how the place was layed out, and when I asked staff for directions they were very clear and accurate. The prices were alright, but this is where they lost 1 star. I'll say to bring a group of people as this can make sure you get special deal. But overall they have a ton of selection of different slopes and lines. The food court had decent prices and have new buildings as hotels in the making. I would recommend this place to have a good time.

This was one of the quietest, nature wrapped and activity surrounded places nearby. I will definitely have to return and do a few things I missed out on! We went tree top trekking while there. Trained in the gym and swam at the pool. Walked around the beautiful peaceful escarpment. All worries in the world had vanished. Witnessed beautiful sunrises with a cup of coffee on the balcony and had dinner out there alongside warm colored sunset. A must do again.

So we don’t ski - BUT - we came for the tubing with friends. We had the best time, kids and adults alike! We bought the unlimited passes and we went down at least 20 times, so it was totally worth it. The kids at the top who get you started we’re the best! Hour after hour they asked “Spin or straight” and accepted race requests! Veronica and Mason were excellent, as were all the rest of them! Food was good, room was modern, clean, etc. Bed was super soft. Overall we had a great experience!

Great resort. The staff are very helpful to everyone who asks. The slopes are very fun to go down. They even offer lessons to those who aren't very experienced and to those who want to get better.
