Toronto North / Cookstown KOA Holiday

About

Located just north of Toronto near the quaint village of Cookstown. We are a family friendly campground with modern amenities.

Story

Set in a convenient location north of Toronto, this KOA offers extra-long pull thru sites. You're just 25 minutes from Canada's Wonderland (discount tickets available). The new Super Site has a beautiful patio with built-in fire pit and patio set. Families enjoy the full-service Deluxe Cabins with bathrooms and kitchens. RV rallies, groups and family reunions appreciate the meeting facilities and large, open areas for activities. Kids love the giant chess / checkerboard and Mining Experience. They can stretch travel-weary muscles at the playground and volleyball / basketball courts or cool off in one of two heated pools. This KOA is situated between an 18-hole golf course and an RV dealership. Don't miss the opportunity to fine-tune your rig while you fine-tune your relaxation skills. Free Wi-Fi on-site. Nearby attractions include horse racing / slots, stock-car racing and fishing.

This is a very well run KOA with nice sized spots and very good staff. We come here every year for Thanksgiving and our final camping trip of the season. Things have been so good over the last three years we are going to try coming when all the amenities are open because they must really make the campground shine.

Reserved a site it was given away to somebody else. Park was full of wasps and closed. Also the pool was shutdown because the chemicals haven't been maintained properly. The small kids pool has been closed all summer and full off stinkey water also the pool deck is extremely slippery and there has been no attempt to fix it. The sites are clean the employees are friendly and helpful.

The site which we had booked was given away to someone else. The sites are extremely close together, you can hardly tell where one ends and the other starts. The washrooms could have been cleaner and the activities could have been little more exciting. The camp store was ok,good ice-cream though. Now the positives,The pool was good,Mining experience was something new for my son, mini putt was ok. The best part was movies under the stars on Saturday night.that is something not to miss. We were really looking forward to this KOA as it has amazing reviews, but were disappointed.
