Best Western Plus Orillia Hotel

8 of the boys stayed at this location for a fishing weekend. We were cheerfully greeted by a fantastic individual name Paul. Paul went above and beyond to accommodate the boys and on top that used his past comedic experience to give the fellas a few chuckles. The chef at the restaurant aka “sirloin Steven” went out his way to make a custom menu and superb meal for the gentlemen. All in all a 10/10 experience and highly recommended to anyone looking to have a fantastic experience.

Overall a very nice experience, staff is nice and room is clean and odor free. For those bacon lovers, YES, their free breakfast has an abundant supply of BACON........... oh yea.

We recommend The Best Western Hotel & Resort Plus in Orillia on Couchiching Point Rd. to our friends or anybody looking for a place to stay when attending a concert at Casino Rama. We loved our stay at the hotel last evening, way over and above what we expected. The front desk staff were very efficient and friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious. We dined at the Italian restaurant downstairs and the service was superb. Our server Laurie, went way above to ensure we were happy with our dinner service and to select the right wine. Our meal was delicious. The chef and the staff at the Portage Restaurant were very friendly and helpful too. We would recommend this restaurant to concert goers for a meal, considering the non -availability of space and the rush at the restaurants at Casino Rama. The hotel also has a shuttle service to the concert venue and back. The complimentary breakfast has various options. I was pleasantly surprised and happy to find the breakfast stocked Greek yoghurt and soy milk with an assortment of Danish and cakes. In all it was a super relaxing place to stay and we will definitely be staying there the next time, if we have to stay overnight or for longer.Keep up the excellent service!

Absolutely love this place. The staff are very friendly and the bed was extremely comfortable. Hot tub was a nice way to unwind before bed and it is conveniently located near restaurants and stores. Breakfast included and an all day breakfast place right next door that closes at 3 PM. Clean hotel, quiet with no road noise and they were just undergoing some renovations when we were there of the front lobby. Discounted dinner rates if you eat there during your stay. Highly recommended!
