First time ever tried Nepali food here. And trust me, you won’t regret if you like to try different food. It tastes different but delicious. We tried tandoori Momos, veg chowmein, Everest jhol Momos, Manchurian. Loved the Manchurian and chowmein most. The staff was very kind and decent. The ambience was great and calm so I enjoyed it. Would definitely go here again to try different Momos. I like the spicy, you should try namche chilli Momos. Jhol Momos are very mild. Overall, it was good experience as first time.
Tried 'Everest Cuisine' for the first time today. It was SO fun! We had a great experience. Hubby and I ordered three dishes. To start we had the Everest Tandoori Momo Dumplings. Our waiter asked if we wanted Chicken or Veg Dumplings and then said that they could do half and half which is what we went with. They were very yummy and came with an aromatic flavourful dipping sauce.nnWe then shared the Veg Thali Set and the Himalayan Choila Set.nnThe Veg Thali comes with Basmati Rice/Vegetable Curry/Pappadum/Potato Pickle/Pickled Daikon/Mustard greens/Lentil soup and King Yogurt. I'd totally order this again. Loads of flavour, super delicious.nnThe Himalayan Choila Set comes with Marinated pieces of Chicken roasted in a clay Tandoor oven coated with Nepalese spices and served with Beaten Rice/Puffed Rice/Pickled Daikon/Pickled Potato/Soybean salad and Sweet and Sour Hog Plum Sauce. The Plum sauce is a digestive. Very cool.nnThis restaurant's menu is extensive and we'll go back very soon. The staff were super nice. A very neat experience and our first time trying Nepalese food.
I took my Mother-in-Law out for lunch here and it was our first time trying Nepali cuisine. We tried the following:nn Chicken Kathmandu Steamed Momo - traditionally made and served with an aromatic dipping sauce! We loved the texture and flavours!nn Wai Wai Sadeko - this popular street food consists of Nepali instant noodles mixed with onion, tomato and Nepali spices! We were pleasantly surprised as we weren’t sure what to expect nn Nepali Goat Curry Thali Set - we loved the flavours in the goat curry and we tried Juju Dhau for the first time a thick creamy sweet yogurt dessert! Highly recommend this! nn Nepali Chai - unlike other chai, this one doesn’t come pre-sweetened, which we really appreciated as we’re not fans of adding sugar to our coffee or tea Very nice on a cold day!nnWe enjoyed our lunch experience and the relaxing vibe of the restaurant. They were playing Nepali music that was neat to listen to while eating authentic dishes!nnWe’ll be back!
We visited the restaurant today and ordered a variety of dishes, including samosa, chili momo, chicken 65, tandoori momo, and chowmein. Every single dish was a perfect blend of spice and flavor. The food truly hit home for me, reminding me of authentic tastes I’ve been craving.nnThe momos, especially the tandoori and chili ones, were absolute standouts – rich in flavor with just the right amount of spice. Chicken 65 was cooked to perfection, and the chowmein added a delightful touch to the meal.nnWe thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend this spot for all momo lovers. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
The chicken jhol momos were a delight. The curry was peppery and tangy. We also got the gobi manchurian and veg chowmein along with chai. The server was polite and nice, and the decor is subtle and cozy.
